--My POV—
Me: WHAT? WHY? BUT SAM!
Sam: if you want him to remember, you'll do it.
It was the next day. I got in an argument with Sam because he suggested I take Seth out for the whole day. Tell him everything that happened, show him everywhere we used to go, tell him about everyone else, and help him try to remember everything. I mean, I really want to do that, but that's something I can't do on my own. That's a lot of information.
Me: I- I guess. Do you think it'll work?
Seth walks in with a big smile on his face. 'Hey guys! Hey Kaya!' He singles my name out now. I feel kind of special. Sam looks at me and shrugs his shoulders, answering my question before Seth walked in.
Sam: Seth, you busy today? Good. Kaya here, volunteered to take you out for the whole day. You know, try to get familiar of the new place. Maybe you'll try to remember little things here.
Seth had a big smile on his face, and nodded his head. Maybe he did imprint on you again. Maybe you didn't feel it because you know he imprinted on you. You felt it the first time, and you don't need to feel it again. Just maybe he did.
Seth: can we bring Koda?
Me: yeah, sure. KODA!
He runs next to me, looks at Seth and stops. He turns to me and waits for me to ask him something.
Me: would you like to go out for the day with Seth and I?
Koda: really? I can come? * Whispers in my ear * Does he know about me being his son?
Me: yes you can come. And yes, he does.
Koda seems to be really happy and jumped up and down. He looked at Seth and yelled, 'DADA.' Seth looked confused for a second and his face softened. 'OH, THAT'S ME!' Koda runs to him and Seth catches him in his arms. This is going to be a family day. Sam suggests I take him to places we used to like to go.
