The first place I wanted to take Seth was Forks. Why? Because it holds one place I love the most. We walked in the place and I looked around, it hasn't changed one bit. We ordered and paid for our stuff. We sat down at our spot.
Seth: so where are you going to take me first?
Me: right here.
Seth: so, why'd you take me here first?
Me: Well, I thought since we are trying to have you regain your memory, we'd start here.
Seth: so, what happened here?
Me: this place is where we first made eye contact. Where we imprinted. Where we first met.
Koda: you met dada here at an ice-cream shop?
Me: well, it wasn't our choice. It was destiny.
Koda: how come it was destiny?
Seth: because you don't chose who you imprint on. It just happens. You can't help it.
Koda: what does imprinting feel like?
Me: it's a feeling you get when you look at that person. It's not gravity holding you to the ground because it's them. Every time you look at them, you just want to hold them in your arms and never let go. It's something more than just a crush. It's love. The best part about imprinting is that they are your soul mate.
Koda: I want to imprint on someone!
Me: ha, learn how to potty train first, and then we'll talk.
I looked at Seth who was smiling and enjoying my conversation with Koda. I couldn't help but smile at his smile.
