--My POV—
A few weeks passed and nothing changed. Seth remembers nothing. NOTHING. No matter how hard we all tried, nothing seems to work. We all got so frustrated that we just finally gave up. Well, they did. I, on the other hand, still tried no matter how mad I got. They think that he won't regain his memory anymore. They said he should've by now and there is no hope. I have faith in Seth. I don't tell him much about me, so if he ever remembers something about me that I know I didn't tell him, I know he's gaining his memory back. Like my birthday, or my nickname he calls me, my actual real name, and so much more.
Well today we were going on a date, or hang out, whatever he wants to call it. I was walking outside the Hunt residence when I bumped into someone.
Kayla: hey Kaya!
Me: oh, hey Kayla. How's everything?
Kayla: oh it's been good. You know the usual. You?
Me: a lot has happened.
Kayla: oh that's cool. So what are you up to?
Me: just going to head to Sam's house.
Kayla: oh Sam. I miss the guys.
Me: you know, why don't you come over later. You know, catch up and say hi. I don't think they mind. It'll be good to have something new back in the house.
Kayla: yeah sure. I'll stop by later. I got to go. Bye Kaya, it was nice seeing you!
Me: likewise.
What the hell did I just do? Why did I invite he to Sam's? No one liked her at the house except for Seth. Seth. What if he imprints? What if he wants to be with her instead? WHAT THE HELL?! I OBVIOUSLY did not think this through. Well, this should be interesting.
I made my way to Sam's and told everyone someone was coming over. We just waited around and watched TV. We were all in the kitchen when Seth heard a knock on the door. He went to go answer and I slowly followed him. When he opened the door, my face dropped.
I know that look, I know that smile, and I know that stare. The way he looked at her was the way he used to look at me. He imprinted. I bit the bottom of my lip and forced myself not to cry. I put on a fake smile and walked up to them. They were just staring at each other and smiling like crazy. That used to be me. That used to be us. Now it's them. I should have seen this coming. I cleared my throat and said fast, 'Seth Kayla, Kayla Seth. Let's go.'
I led them towards the kitchen. Everyone stopped what they were doing and looked at us. Kayla kindly greeted everyone and everyone waved back with a smile. Kayla's phone dinged out of nowhere and she looked at her text. 'I have to go. It was nice seeing you guys. I'll see you guys soon.' She waved bye and walked out the kitchen to the front door. I followed her,
Me: Kayla wait. Are you doing anything tonight?
Kayla: not that I know of.
Me: well, why don't you come on a date with us. I'll hook you up with someone.
Kayla: sure, why not. But I have nothing to wear. My whole wardrobe is all bleck.
Me: well, come by here around 5 and I'll fix you up.
Kayla: thanks Kaya. See you tonight.
She walked out the front door and I closed it, thinking.
