She got teleported on a rooftop. She looked around, she immediately recognized the place.
Brooklyn. Her Brooklyn?
Tall colorful buildings, so many rows of cars in the streets, people chatting, talking to the phone, minding their own business. Did she got in the wrong universe?
She checked her own gizmo: Earth 1610.
Then why was all of it the same?
She kept her mask on, starting exploring around as she held on her webs.
It just felt like she was in her own universe, she knew Brooklyn like the palm of her own hand.
People looked up, seeing her unknown figure, indicating her. Some yelled her presence, some just stared with their mouth open, other gasped in awe. But she couldn't be distracted by people, she had to find Gwen somehow, check where she was and why was she here.
Just then, she saw her white and pink figure swinging between buildings. But she was not alone. Another figure was following her, it was not a treat for sure. He had the same spidersuit as her, just his suit was black, with some red color under his arms. He was surely a male, Y/n could tell by his physique: his well-build shoulders, his legs, his chest. And looked like Gwen and his were conversating during their swinging in the city.
Y/n felt like a stalker doing so, but she eventually followed them from a certain distance.

She kept following them.
They both looked so pacefull as they explored the whole city. She could hear the guy's giggles and the words he said to Gwen <<Look what can I do!>> then he processed swinging upside down with a web around his foot, he was surely trying to impress Gwen. It wasn't working, but she liked it anyway, smiling through her mask. In fact, she did the same thing as him, swinging upside down.
"How cute" was Y/n's first thought.
They swang for an hour without stopping neither a bit, and Y/n behind them was honestly tired. But they looked like they could keep do it for a couple of hours more.
Until they went into a house.
Y/n's eyes widened, realizing she knew that house so well.
Her house.
What were they doing here...
After a couple of minutes, the got out the house. Gwen was dressed in her own clothes, without the suit. And so the guy beside her, he was just wearing a pair of jeans, a shirt, and a jaket on it. Y/n couldn't help but watch them from afar.

She followed them. There was a party on a rooftop of a building. But instead, they were hidden on the fire vescape stairs, after they stole some food from it. They were just there, talking and eating like normal teenagers do.
Gwen was talking as she was eating hungrily the food <<Mmh that's so good.>>.
The guy nodded, as he ate too <<These are the best fries you could ever eat here in Brooklyn.>>.
After they ate, the guy's eyes fell on the gizmo Gwen was wearing <<That's a cool watch, where did you get it?>>.
She looked at it <<This is not a watch, it makes me stop glitching from a dimention from another.>>. The guys was surprised, showing a hand as asking if he could see it. Gwen took it off and gently gave it to him. He was looking at it carefully, touching it to see what it could do <<You made it?>>.
<<No, Miguel made it, helped by Lyla, his A.I.>>
<<Who's Miguel?>>
<<A Ninja Vampire Spiderman, Miguel O'Hara. He's the leader of the Spider Society, as I told you earlier.>> Gwen punctualized.
<<I wonder what is gonna take from Miguel O'Hara to notice Miles Morales.>> he wondered outloud.

Just now, Y/n observed the guy: short black afro hair, thick eyebrows, small nose, big lips. He jsut looked like her father...
Maybe it was just a coincidence.
Gwen giggled <<I'll put a good word on you.>>.
<<I am just saying. If I had a watch, I could come with you.>> he said, glancing at her, then again at the city under them.
<<Miles->> Gwen tried to speak, putting down the plate of food she was holding.
<<I'd save the multiverse with you.>>
<<It's a really small group->>
<<I am fast, I can become invisible, I have like eletric powers>> he smiled, looking straight at her as he analizated his skills.
<<There aren't a lot of slots.>> she spoke, trying to stop him. He realized that for some reason, or maybe just becase she didn't want to, he could not go there. Wait, why was she doing this? Why couldn't she just take him with her and introce him to Miguel?
<<Ah... alright.>> Miles spoke, his smile faded as he watched the gizmo again, playing a bit with it, trying to do not look hurt. Gwen actually noticed it <<Miles if it was up to me I->>.
<<No I know, I know.>> now he cutted her off, still holding the gizmo. Then he gently gave it to her.
Suddently, out of nowhere, appeared her mom. Y/n's eyes widened.
No, it was not a coincidence.
In that Universe, his brother was sixteen, alive. Her mother was happy, and her father alive too.
And she did not exist.
<<Hello! Hi I am Miles' mom.>> she introduced herself to Miles.
Gwen smiled <<Oh Rio, hi! Miles talked about you so much!>> she said, calling her by her first name.
"Oh she's screwed" that was Y/n's first thought. She knew very well how much her mother hated it. In fact, Rio's face got tense with a fake smile as she muttered <<She called me by my first name... alright.>> then she spoke again to Gwen <<Okay this is nice. I found this in Miles' room. So I guess you've been there, huh?>> handing her hoodie. She was tense. Too much tense.
"She's screwed again".
They talked for a bit more, until from Gwen's gizmo could be heard a voice. Jess' voice. In fact Gwen covered it with her hand <<Shoot- I... uh... have to go now.>> then she raised her head, just then noticing Y/n in her suit, looking at her from afar. Gwen became more and more nervous <<I wish I could really stay more. Goodbye.>> she shook Miles' hand in an awkward way before going down the stairs, as Miles followed her with sad eyes.
