Miles raised his voice, he was going to geta mental breakdown soon <<When does it happen?!>>.
Just then Miguel answered, his hands on his hips <<In two days. When he's sworn in.>>

<<I can't do that. Not now.>> Miguel said, looking really sorry. He wasn't faking it at all, he was truly sad. He knew how was to watch somebody die in front of your eyes and do nothing to stop it. Even if he wanted, it was going to be worse.
Miles looked at him with disbelief <<What am I supposed to do, just let him die?!>>.
Miguel stood, unwavering.
Miles turned to Gwen <<What about your dad? He's a Captain, right?>>.
Gwen nodded, looking away and knowing damn well what he wanted to say <<Yeah.>>
<<And that's it? You just aren’t gonna do anything about it?>> Miles said panicking even more, as Gwen couldn't find any words.

Miles looked at her with tears with her eyes. The situation, watching his dead sister be here talking, was too much <<Then let me... save him. Please.>> he pleaded.
Y/n wanted to nod. She wanted to say yes. She wanted to hug him tightly, telling him that she would do everything to save their father.
But she couldn't, Miguel wasn't going to let this happen. So she could just look away.
M iles scoffed <<So we’re just supposed to let people die, because some ALGORITHM…>>

Suddently he dopped a containment field around Miles, trapping him inside. But he wasn't going to give up, he started wailing against the energy field.
<<Miguel let him go!>> Y/n raised her voice, protectivness hitting in.
People around him looked, somebody whispered against somebody else as Miguel spoke <<We let him leave, he'll only do more damage, you know that!>>
<<Miguel, that's enough!>> Y/n spoke, hissing to him.

Miguel was really cold, walking away and walking away <<We just need to hold him a few days>>. Y/n was going to talk back but her eyes shifted from him to Miles and she noticed something, something she never saw anybody do: he was absorbing the laser cage's energy. Beside her, Hobie was wiggling his fingers at Miles and mouthing “palms.”
And then, in a second Miles lot out a big venom shockwave that knocked out not only the cage he was in, but the whole Spider Society near him at the same time, as Hobie chuckles a tiny bit. Everything then becomes silent for a few seconds, Miles processes what he just did and just then he started running away.
