Alone again (Solarballs earth angst)

Can both of you pull yourselves together?

(Venus P.O.V)

I was watching Earth's moon and the pipsqueak have some emotional talk, it was pretty hard to watch, even if he wasn't close enough to see much or hear anything. It was really weird to see, I mean who would have known those two would be friends, maybe it's because they're basically both moons.  He laughs at the thought.

He leaves the two before they can finish their long depressing talk instead opting to head towards Earth and Mars who were just looking at each other, were they even talking? When I talked to Mars an hour ago they were on bad terms. Doesn't matter that much, I should probably go and talk to them before the two idiots do something dumb as always. 

He floats towards trying to make himself as obvious as possible, but it doesn't work the two seem very caught up in using their one brain cell to do whatever cult-like ritual they are performing.

"Hey, idiots! Can you stop looking at each other and talk to me?" Both of them do a little jump in the air with Earth screaming and Mars trying to hide behind him, idiots.

"Are you two serious? How did you two let me sneak up on you? I'm pretty sure I even did a fake cough right next to you." He was perplexed that they didn't see or at least hear him coming. Earth and Mars cool down when they realize it's just Venus.

"Hey, man sorry we didn't see you sooner," Mars says with an apologetic expression

"Yeah, my bad dude," Earth says giving an awkward laugh at the end.

"Yeah, whatever," I grumble "What are you idiots even doing anyways, 'cause you clearly weren't talking." Both of them pause then respond with 'I dunno'.

"I only came because Mercury wanted to see Earth for something." Earth stiffens when Mars says 'only', but looks confused when he brings up Mercury. I take a moment to think about what Mars had just said about the pipsqueak, oh I know what happened now.

"Are you guys the reason the moon is crying?" He asks confused about why the two of them would want to hurt the moon's feelings. Earth freezes and looks up at him concerned while Mars looks downright confused.

"Luna was crying?" Mars asks "I was just with him though, he seemed mostly fine just a little uncomfortable." Mars looked confused again, he looked at Earth for answers but he was just frozen in place.

"L-luna and Mercury?" Earth's eyes widen in what I think to be fear or maybe realization.

"Yeah, was it the pipsqueak who did something?" I ask "I'm willing to throw an asteroid at him if you want." I start smiling at the image throwing asteroids at the little guy, Mars looks at him with a troubled expression while Earth seems to be in his own bubble again. Mars turns back to look at Earth.

"You okay, buddy?" Mars questions "You're not looking too good." Earth looks at him and Mars, his eyes watering up. I'm starting to get uncomfortable, I hadn't seen him cry since before-

This wasn't good why is he getting so emotional all of a sudden?

"Maybe we should get his moon?" Venus asks Mars who was just standing there not knowing what to do for his best friend. 

"Mars, I need you're help here," I say to a now hyperventilating planet, you've got to be kidding me. Before he can ask again he sees Mercury and the moon coming back, relieved he goes over to meet them.

"Oh my stars, thank the Sun you came back!" I say to the moon and surprisingly to the pipsqueak as well. He was really desperate for some help.

"What the- Venus?!?" Mercury yells out "What are you doing here?"

"I came to check on my friends," I nod over to Mars and Earth who were both having mental breakdowns. Mercury and the moon both look horrified.
