Phobos and Deimos start maniacally laughing while flying at high speeds through the outer part of the Goldilocks towards Mercury. They both thought that this was a genius idea, no flaws and no way it would fail.
They continue to laugh and banter all the way to Mars who is still staring at Earth with uncertainty, as they pass him they quiet down and speed up trying not to get caught. They're so sneaky.
They get past Earth and Mars's orbits with no problems and they're halfway through Venus's till they spot the hotheaded planet coming their way with an angry and irritated expression.
Both moons panic and try to run away to hide. They both miserably fail as Venus easily catches up to them.
"Hey! Mars's asteroids I'm trying to talk to you!" Venus says anger evident in his tone
"We're not Mars's asteroids!" Says Phobos annoyed,
"Yeah! Not asteroids!" Yells Deimos
"Sure, whatever asteroids" He mockingly counters
"I need to know what's going on with the two idiots! " he announces "They've been acting really weird" He utters a little more hushed. Phobos was relieved that someone else had noticed the change in behaviors they were both having. Deimos was just writing in his notebook.
"I know it has something to do with the stupid revolution because they didn't act this off before." Venus grimaces when talking about the revolution, then glares at the two moons when he realizes they're staring at him.
"We we're all messed up by that but man, I really thought things were getting better." Venus was getting more emotional than usual.
"We were all getting along with each other... I-I finally had a friend again." Venus said the last part so quietly the moons could barely hear it. He looked on the verge of tears, his head was down, and he was mumbling something to himself quietly.
"Are you okay Venus?" Phobos asks concerned
"Yeah, are you okay?" Deimos echos but louder
"W-what are you talking about?" Venus stutters out giving them another glare, though this one was less heated and seemed like more of a coping mechanism "Of course I'm fine... Go back to your planet you stupid asteroids" Venus scowls and all the vulnerable emotion before was replaced by rage and a little bit of shame.
