Warning: a tinsy winsy bit of swearing

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" They both screamed

"Are you two okay? I di-"

"We're both going to be turned to moon dust!" Phobos starts crying and Deimos starts flying around frantically yelling about some earthling alien thing.

" Can you two be quiet? You're almost as loud as the Sun." Mercury looks a little awkward, floating and watching the small moons freak out about him 'sneaking' up behind them.

"Sorry about scaring you," Mercury tries to lower his voice to make it softer " I didn't really mean to." He tries to give them a warm smile but it looked more skittish to the moons.

"Wait a minute... MERCURY?" Deimos stops flying around to look at Phobos and Mercury, he gets a big smile on his face.

"YESSSSS. Mercury, we've been looking for you!" Deimos says "Phobos and I wanted you to crash into-" Phobos nudges him trying to make him shut up before they lose their chance to help Mars get therapy. Deimos gives him an innocent smile while blinking his eyes slowly.

"W-what was that? You want me to-"

"NO!" Yells Phobos

"I mean, uhh, no thank you. We only want you to help us with Mars and Earth, right Deimos?" Deimos quickly shakes his head from side to side, it still doesn't do much for Mercury who still looks doubtful and nervous.

"Ha, yeah, n-nice. Is that the real reason you're here?" Mercury questions giving them an anxious laugh.

"I'm not really allowed out of my orbit, Sun will get mad at me... and the others, trust me not a good idea."

"But Mars and Earth are acting really weirrrrrd." Deimos complains hoping that Mercury will see his point but Mercury is frozen in place

"Yeah, even Venus is acting weird" Phobos adds, "Are you even listening to...us?" He asks slowing his sentence when he sees Mercury. With a frown on his face, Phobos is uncertain on whether to continue, Mercury looks scared like his worst fears have just been confirmed or come true. He was about to ask him about it when Mercury spoke up.

"Did you say something was wrong with Earth?" He says horrified.

"Yeah, and Mars," Deimos says nonchalant

"No, no, no, no, no, no, not again this can't happen again." Mercury looks around in a panic as if Earth will just pop up from behind some asteroid saying 'gotcha you little bitch'. He finally stops flailing around to instead start squeezing his eyes shut tightly. With his scrunched-up face and sad expression, Mercury couldn't see the concern that laced the faces of the two moons.

"I t-thought he w-was fine. Why? H-he was supposed to be better." Mercury started to shake and breathe heavily all while shutting his eyes even tighter. Deimos kind of thought he looked terrible, but even he knew Mercury did not need to hear it. Definitely not the right time or place.

"Mercury! Are you coming with us or not?" Phobos asks he feels bad for him but he has little empathy left to give, it has been a long day and he is a little fed up with all the breakdowns happening to the rocky planets.

He just gives Mercury a small pat on the back, and surprisingly Mercury laughs, it was a small hollow one that seemed more akin to crying than real laughter but it was something. Mercury looks up at him with a determined look in his eyes.

"We need to go now" His voice was hoarse but he was dead set on it. He turns to face the Sun leaving Phobos and Deimos confused about what made him change his mind and get his act together.

"Sun! I need to leave!" Mercury yells loudly so different from how he was when they first saw him earlier. Sun doesn't seem to completely hear him though.

"MERCURY! What do you need? A Sun joke maybe?" The happy and somewhat insane voice of the Sun rings through the heads of the three of them. Mercury looks exhausted but he still decides to face the Sun.

"What's my favorite day of the week?" Sun looks at Mercury expectantly, he only mummers in response.

"It's SUNday of course!" Sun breaks into hysterical laughter, Mercury seems to lose a lot of his confidence now that he's talking to the sun he keeps going though.

"Sun I need to leave!" He says louder but the Sun still doesn't seem to really understand.

"I don't really understand..." Sun takes a closer look at him "Oh, Mercury you don't look too good do-"

"I NEED TO LEAVE MY ORBIT!" He shouts out, "I'm going with Mars's moons to help him and Earth." He states like there's no other option.

"ABSOLUTELY NOT! YOU KNOW YOU'RE NOT PERMITTED TO LEAVE YOUR ORBIT!" The Sun yells in a screechy tone, he does not look happy that Mercury wants to leave. Mercury goes leans in closer to the Sun and whispers something to him, his face immediately falls and he looks just as traumatized and scared as Mercury was. He just sits there for a few minutes in shock.

"Y-you can go Mercury." The Sun says after what feels like forever for Phobos and Deimos. His eyes seemed to gaze off towards the Earth which was looking right at him but didn't seem to notice, too caught up in his own thoughts. Mercury gives him a reassuring smile and thanks him.

The new trio heads off towards other rocky planets.

"That was so badass" Phobos whispers to Deimos in admiration "Yeah! So badass!" Deimos agrees but louder and with more enthusiasm.

"I wonder what he said to the Sun?"

"Maybe he threatened to destroy the solar system?" Phobos says convinced that this insane idea is the new truth "Either way it must be pretty amazing to shut the Sun up for that long!" Deimos smiles at him and they continue talking the entire way disregarding the distraught faces of Mercury and Sun trembling in the distance.
