Ceres slowly began approaching the Apostle Artemis, with Decidueye right behind her. She gripped both her blades tightly in her hands as a green aura surrounded her and Decidueye's entire body.

"Legendary Pokémon that has blessed me, heed my call once again. Aid me in this battle."

Suddenly the green aura around Ceres intensified, and she and Decidueye then quickly lunged at Artemis for the first strike.

"Decidueye, use Leaf Blade!"

The feathers at the end of Decidueye's wings began to glow a bright green, becoming razor sharp.

"Meowstic, use Psychic."

Just as Decidueye was about to strike Artemis, a pink glow enveloped it, with Meowstic holding Decidueye in place. As Decidueye struggled to move, Ceres rushed in to slash at Meowstic. Artemis then quickly made a weird signal with her hand that caused three of her floating daggers to block Ceres' blade from hitting Meowstic. While Ceres was clashing with the daggers, Artemis ran up to her and kicked Ceres in the stomach, causing her to go flying into a wall. Meowstic then used Psychic to throw Decidueye into Ceres. Both Decidueye and Ceres slowly got up before charging in once again.

"You will not win this way. Meowstic, use Psyshock."

Meowstic began to glow pink once again and began levitating a bunch of rocks off the ground, throwing the barrage at Ceres and Decidueye. Decidueye quickly vanished into thin air as Ceres easily dodged the incoming rocks.

"Sucker Punch now!" Ceres shouted.

Suddenly Decidueye appeared behind Meowstic with a dark energy covering its wing, then hit Meowstic with a swift punch into the wall, causing Artemis to look and see if Meowstic was okay. Artemis looked back at Ceres, who was quickly approaching, and tried to signal her daggers to block the attack, but it was too late. Ceres slashed across Artemis' chest as she jumped back, narrowly avoiding the attack.

Ceres ran up for a follow-up attack, saying, "Let me return the favor."

Ceres kicked Artemis in the stomach, knocking her into the wall. Ceres then threw one of her wakizashi at Artemis, who narrowly avoided it but realized the blade had stabbed through her cloak and into the wall, rendering her unable to avoid the upcoming attack. While Artemis was against the wall, Ceres punched her in the mask, creating large cracks in the wall behind her. Ceres continued to pummel Artemis, each hit causing the room to shake until she heard Decidueye's cry from being slammed into the ceiling by Meowstic's Psychic. While Ceres was caught off guard, Artemis pulled the wakizashi from her cloak and slashed Ceres in the side before punching her in the gut. Ceres clenched her stomach as she gasped for air. Artemis grabbed Ceres' hair, throwing her to the ground, and Meowstic did the same to Decidueye using Psychic.

Ceres and Decidueye staggered back to their feet as Artemis threw the wakizashi back at Ceres, who caught it effortlessly. Ceres was breathing rapidly, the sound of her own heart in her ears and the taste of blood in her mouth. She started reaching into one of the black leather pouches around her thigh and pulled out a large, oval, translucent yellow seed.

"While I'm still feeling generous, how about you explain some shit? Even just letting me see your blessed Pokémon would be nice," Ceres said, glaring at Artemis.

"You have yet to reveal what Pokémon has blessed you, so I have no reason to either. Meowstic, use Psyshock."

Meowstic's eyes began to glow pink as it lifted a bunch of debris and fallen rock into the air with psychic energy, then threw it all towards Decidueye and Ceres. Ceres took a deep breath and tightly gripped her weapon, causing the ivy pattern along the blade to glow a green hue. Suddenly, a bunch of pink petals began to materialize out of thin air and began swirling around Ceres. Ceres slashed all of the debris and rocks that had been thrown in half in an instant. She then lunged at Artemis and Meowstic faster than she had ever done before, surrounded by the pink petals. Artemis made a strange gesture with her hands that caused all six of the daggers to fly through the air toward Ceres; however, she completely dodged all of them.
