As the morning sun shines upon the outskirts of Cedar Hill Town, a woman riding atop a gallant brown horse. The horse has a lazy look in its eyes, but a very defined and beautiful mane. She and her steed seem to be heading towards the neighborhood, approaching a lone brick house with a tightly wrapped package in her hands. The woman had dark brown skin, like that of tree bark, and her curly hair was tied into a bun over her glistening hazel eyes. A beige hoodie was tied well around her waist, almost clashing with her short white crop top and jogging pants. As she arrives at the house, she jumps off the horse and proceeds to reach into her pockets. She pulls out a round device with a red top and white bottom, its colors halved by a black line with a circle smack in the middle.
"Mudsdale, return!" She beckons.
A blue beacon of mystical light comes from the mysterious ball, moving in a slow but elegant manner to surround Mudsdale. As the light shrouded Mudsdale, Mudsdale's white silhouette could be seen quickly before the blue light engulfed him into the ball. She mutters to herself before making her way to the house ahead.
"Your cosy Pokéball... I hope it's cosy enough at least,"
She walks to the brick porch of the house, finally covered from the treacherous sun tormenting her with every step. She knocks on the door when she arrives, waiting, and somewhat hoping for an answer. While waiting for an answer, she looks around the porch and sees six potted plants with several bees buzzing around them. She studies the bees, noticing how harmonious and collaborative they were being. She noticed one was smaller than the others, which disheartened her a bit.
"Sweet little Combee..." She whispered to herself.
As she was looking around, the door opened. Hardly paying attention, the door was open for about five seconds before she turned around and noticed; that the door was finally answered! She notices who opens the door, and she lights up. A woman with long black hair, tied into thick, luxurious box braids, answers the door, and the girl immediately notices she has the same hazel eyes and brown skin as her. She always loved to admire their similarities; it brought a certain type of confidence to her that she couldn't explain. She was wearing fairly tight gray yoga pants and a black tank top that was flowing from the air conditioning in the house. As they made eye contact, their faces lit up, almost simultaneously.
You could notice the girl do a slight hop. "Hazel! It's been ages! How's my big sis doing!?" The girl who answered the door said quickly and swiftly as she came closer to her visitor, reaching out for an embrace.
"It really has been, Adhira. I'm really sorry I can't visit more often..." Hazel responds, giving Adhira a tight hug, grunting as she makes sure her hug has meaning. "I've been doing great," Hazel continues, "I guess I can't complain. How are you?"
Adhira noticed that Hazel wasn't telling the full truth. Adhira made a short pause before speaking again.
"That's no good. We're gonna have to discuss that later. Me, I'm doing fine, but lately, things have been feeling so slow! Not much can go wrong. But my goodness, the sheer boredom is depressing! Though I will say being a parent makes the mundane life a lot more interesting." She joked, but it didn't seem very well received; Hazel's face sank.
They walked into the foyer, the wooden floor creaked quite a bit; every time they walked, a squeaking noise followed. As they walked into the living room, the two of them sat down on a long grey couch, it was quite fuzzy, filled with pillows and blankets. With the air conditioning blowing on Hazel's face, she felt as if she could drift off to sleep any second. There was a low glass table in front of them as they sat down, with a large woolly rug beneath the table. There was another couch smothered with pillows and blankets and a chair in the corner. There were four large windows along the walls of the room letting in a lot of light, as the curtains were tied to the sides of the windows.
