After dinner, Kori, Hiro, and Haru had gone their separate ways, with Leo, Lexis, and Lyra letting them catch up. They made their way back to the Pokémon Center, passing by the beautiful neon lights that illuminated Nexus. Kori couldn't help but get lost in the dazzling lights of this bustling city. Once back at the Pokémon Center, they went to the room they booked. Kori noticed the room looked almost identical to the room they had in Melody City; it resembled a standard two-bed hotel suite. Collapsing on one of the beds, Hiro let out a sigh of relief.
"I feel exhausted as hell. This was such a long day."
Kori sat next to Hiro on the bed and said, "I guess that's true. We arrived early this morning and basically haven't slowed down since; on the bright side, we got the gym battle out of the way!"
Haru sat on the other bed and asked, "How are we getting to Atifeo?"
"That's something we'll likely have to discuss with Leo, seeing as we're going to be traveling together for a while. Which is something I'm a bit reluctant on, to be honest," Hiro answered.
"C'mon, I'm sure it'll be fun; the more, the merrier! Besides, think of the stuff we could learn from him!"
"While that might be true, I have yet to have a good interaction with that guy," Hiro said, jumping off the bed. "Tomorrow we'll talk about transportation with Leo, gather more supplies, and if Haru feels up to it, we'll go to Lexis and Lyra's concert."
"Oh yeah, I nearly forgot about that! If we go, that'll be so fun!" Kori exclaimed. "Of course, it's up to you, Haru, if you wanna go."
Haru stared at the ground, saying, "I'm still unsure... Can I answer tomorrow?"
"Yeah, that's cool; if no one is going to claim to take a shower first, I'm going to take one now. It's been too long since our last one," Hiro said before disappearing into the bathroom.
"Haru, how do you feel about Leo traveling with us? Do you agree with Hiro?" Kori asked.
"I do not dislike Leo like Hiro... but I do not trust him yet, so I am wary."
"I guess that's fair; we just met 'em, but I do hope we can all get along, especially since he has so much experience."
"That is true... As long as he does not hurt any of you, it should be fine, but if he does..." Haru said, clenching his fist on the bed.
Kori looked down and noticed Haru's clenched hand. He walked over to Haru and placed his hand on Haru's shoulder.
"Thanks, Haru, but I'm sure we'll get along great. I trust Lexis and Lyra's judgment."

The following evening, the three of them got up and made their way to the market area of the Pokémon Center. They had been going through the aisles, restocking food and supplies that had been depleted since Melody City. Kori walked up to Hiro, who was looking at canned foods.
"Hey Hiro, how about we buy some Pecha berries?" Kori asked, holding a basket load of large pink fruit that could fit perfectly in his palm.
"I don't see why not, but that's a lot of berries you seem to plan on buying."
"Well, I'm tired of beans and hotdogs! I want something else, and I've missed Pecha berries; they're so sweet and juicy, plus they can cure poison," Kori said.
"Well, if you're tired of beans, maybe we can try making that soup Adhira made for us back at Haru's hut. I'm sure we can find most of the ingredients here."
"Oh! That'd be amazing! Speaking of Haru, do you know where he went? Wasn't he last with you when I went off looking for the Pecha berries?"
"Yeah, but he went to look at the Pokémon plushies."
