Chapter 71 - Draco Malfoy

I come out in my new wine-red dress, I turn in front of Pansy, and she immediately starts clapping.

"Well, if you can't get Draco with that, I don't know what will."

"Come on, it's your turn. Give me a dress fashion show." I say and sit down on the couch in her room.

After a few minutes she comes out again, wearing a tight-fitting, short dress in moss green.

"His favorite color, isn't it?"

"Of course. I mean you're wearing Draco's favorite color."

"I want him to fall in love with me."

"That reminds me of something. His other favorite color is white."

"What?" I ask and stand next to her.

"Found it!" she says and grins, then holds out a white pearl necklace to me.

"It goes with the dress and looks great. Turn around, I'll put it on you."

I immediately lift my hair up and turn around.

She puts the necklace on me and smiles.

"Ahhh! You look so beautiful!" she squeals and I hug her.

"You look much better."

"Shall we go?"

I nod.

With Pansy at my side we go into the Great Hall, the room is lit up in green colors.

People are dancing, singing, drinking and making out everywhere.

The music is so loud that people practically have to scream at each other.

"There you are!" we hear Draco and Blaise suddenly standing in front of us.

"Boys, you look hot!" says Pansy directly, grabs Blaise's hand and goes onto the dance floor with him.

Draco looks at me and I smile at him.

"Uh, do you want something to drink?"

"Sure."

"Hold on tight to me." he says and holds out his hand to me.

I hesitantly take his hand, we go to the table with the drinks together, he pours me something and himself too.

Then he puts the cup in my hand and takes my other hand again.

"Come on, let's sit down with the others." he says and pulls me along.

When we get to Mattheo, Theodore, Lorenzo, Regulus and the other boys, Draco sits me down on a bar stool without a backrest and puts his arms around me from behind.

"I hope that's okay." he whispers in my ear and I knew I was blushing.

"Yes, everything's fine." I say and he just smiles.

Inside, my heart is racing as if it had run 103 miles. On the outside, I try not to let it show.

"Draco, you've sorted out little Y/n, huh?"

"Guys, be respectful, okay? We're talking about a woman here." he replies calmly and takes a sip of his drink.

I look towards the dance floor, a grin on my face.
