Forever

A/N : With the pride month going and the pride flag flying high here is a drabble of Sean and White because the Not Me pride flag scene always remains special.

"Sean, today is pride night. You will go with me, right?" White asks Sean, packing his bag for his work.

"I have a meeting with the clients." Sean sighs still on the bed.

"Okay." The disappointment in White's voice was very clear.

Pride nights had been their thing from the first time when they were not even dating but still held hands under the pride flag. Every year, kissing Sean under the pride flag is something White looks forward to. Sean had been very busy lately with clients, especially since it is the case of corruption. White understands it, but this is special for him.

White despite knowing Sean is not going to come waits for him under flag. It is a day when he expresses himself openly.

Russia was a homophobic country, and he could never fool around with men. He could never explore his sexuality properly, though he knew he was attracted towards both the genders equally. Coming here and realising his bisexuality, falling in love with his brother's enemy and gang member, was never his plan but always his destiny, maybe.

This was the first pride parade after the announcement of marriage equality, and White was planning to propose Sean under the flag. He still had the ring with him in case Sean arrived last moment after the client meeting.

Yok along with his husband Dan, who was an ex-police officer, were the first ones to arrive among the group. Dan had proposed Yok for marriage on his graduation day. They got married in a small unofficial ceremony. They had legally registered their marriage the next day to the announcement of legality of same sex marriage.

"Where is Sean ?" Yok asks White.

"He said he has a meeting with the clients so he won't be coming."

Dan nods his head awkwardly. Despite the fact that Sean had forgiven Dan and Dan had helped them achieve their goal, things were still a little awkward between them.

Black arrived next alone. He had been dating on and off but never sticking to someone long term. He didn't care about such events where the answer was not violence but he did care about his brother enough to attend it.

Gram had bailed out of the event since he had to attend the same client meeting as Sean.

As the parade starts White maintains a little distance from the flag instead of going under it as usual.

They walk some distance when the parade comes to a halt. People under the flag start making space for someone who was walking towards White.

"Sean!" White exclaims as he notices the figure. Behind him was Gram who probably helped Sean clear the path and arrange all this.

Sean grabs White's hand as he takes him inder the flag. White closes his eyes and waits for the kiss to happen. He liked devouring a little bit of kiss with closed eyes before he can take in Sean's feature and feel blessed to have this man in his life.

Sean was on the ground on one knee when White opens his eyes because his lips never met his partner.

"Sean"

With a ring box in his hand Sean asks "Will you update are status from boyfriends to husbands?"

The crowd screams "Say yes! Say yes!"

"Yes definitely yes." White extends his hand as Sean slides thr ring into the ring finger.

The people around them erupt into cheers.

White takes out his own ring he had prepared for Sean and slides it into Sean's hand.

The crowd claps louder and cheers for them.
With a smile on face and droplets of tears in his eyes White stands on his toes as Sean brings his lips closer to White. They both devour each under the flag continuing their tradition.

The entwine their hands as they move forward with the others.

"I didn't think you would propose to me publicly." White looks into Sean's eyes.

"But this is exactly how you would have wanted it."

"Yes, this is exactly how I wanted my proposal to be but it had to be ours I planned on sliding the ring slowly in secret and whispering you to marry me in your ear."

Sean removes his ring and hands it back to White. "Do it now. We will both nave our perfect proposals."

White does it he slides the ring into the ring finger slowly whispering sweet nothings in Sean's ear as promises after asking him to marry him.

"Forever it is." White whispers at last.

"Forever." Sean whispers back with a smile on his face.
