Eunha's POV
Friday came along and it was 1 week before sports day.
It was lunch time and I sat in front of the field where some of my peers were playing volleyball. There was some sort of pavement that people liked to play at including my friends. I looked at my friends who were playing and envied them.
Everyone transferred to this school at the same time so this was our second year to know each other. I loved all sports but I've never had the courage to join the others, afraid of people's judgements. I watched the ball bounce back and forth imagining what I would do in that position.
On the other side of the pavement was Sangwon and a bunch of guys. Some were in my class and some I've never seen. There were so many students to the point where I see a new face almost everyday. School is ending soon.
As I looked at the groups of boys I barely missed the ball flying towards me and Hana
"Eunha stop daydreaming and wat-"
I don't think it came fast enough to be all scared. I put my hand up and prayed that it would bounce out and not hit us. I guess it worked?
I got down onto the pavement and picked up the ball the just flew. I looked to the boys and there was a handsome man looking back at me. I was stunned for a moment but when he raised his arms up asking for the ball, I threw it back with the power I got.
Time skip
As I was walking past the volleyball court on my way to practice, I caught a glimpse of that same guy.
To be fair, Sangwon was an old interest as I came to realize how he was stuck to his phone 24/7 I wasn't that interested in him anymore.
I wanted to know who that guy was. How could I miss someone who looks this great? Maybe I'll look through instagram and find out.
-----
I walked to where the seniors told us to meet. I. have. no. words. We have to practice in the middle of a building where EVERYONE would see us including university students. Even though we had to perform for a large audience in the end, I didn't want this to be our "trial"
"So I was thinking..." One of my seniors started to speak, "We should have a climax to our performance and us seniors have an idea."
I turned my head towards Minnie and we shared a knowing look
"The part where Eunha and Minnie dance alone. I want you guys to run back after the dance and carry Hanni up. It'll be for around 1 eights and then Hanni would drop dead. Of course the others would be behind and catch you, Hanni."
What the hell. I wouldn't have any trouble carrying Hanni up but I had cartwheels and a whole dance routine before it. Not even that, the length I had to run before even reaching the middle was more than enough to lose my breath. Plus, this was towards the end of our 10 minute show. I had no choice but to follow their ideas as we really wanted to win first place.
My team didn't win any sports competition and the Cheer competition was always won by the green team. We really wanted to be the first team to break that streak in hopes of also getting our first trophy.
"Lastly," There was more?? "Eunha since you're at the very front after this, I hope you could act as a stand? The others will act as stairs with their backs for Yeseo to climb up but she'll have to stand on your back for a few more seconds before she jumps off you"
No no no no no. I'm the shortest one among us 13, why do I have to be the "tallest stair" out of all? Heck I wouldn't even get the chance to breath or even bend my knees to support myself as a "stair"
