Third person POV
Dohoon's match ended as they claimed first place. Cheering loudly, his friends stand close by with huge smiles plastered on their faces. Although they weren't all in the same color teams, they don't compete over the same sports so they're able to fully cheer for one another.
"Dohoon! BRO CONGRATULATIONS" Jihoon elbows the boy as he walked closer.
"ow." Dohoon holds his stomach while the others laugh at the younger's antics.
"Hey, do you want to go see Eunha? She's probably dying to know the results after you left her." Hana invites Dohoon, eyeing the group to come along.
"I left her? No no no" Dohoon waves his hands signaling he hadn't taken care of her.
"Huh? did you not look after her before the game? I thought you just found someone else to stay with her afterwards. Huh? Who looked after her then?" Hana rambles on, worried.
"Ah I left that with Youngjae. He's free until volleyball anyway." Dohoon replies nonchalantly.
"YAH WHY DIDNT YOU TELL ME." Hana furiously slapped dohoon on the shoulder.
"WHY DID I HAVE TO TELL YOU?!"
"THE LIST OF THINGS I WROTE TO YOU, DO YOU THINK CHOI YOUNGJAE WILL DO IT?!"
"OF COURSE HE WOULD WHY WOULD HE NOT"
"THE FIRST THING ON THAT FLIPPING LIST IS TO TAKE OFF HER JACKET"
"NOONA OH COME ON LETS GO?!" Kyungmin can't handle the bickering and drags the two teens to the infirmary.
The six of them arrives at the infirmary, Jihoon sliding the door open dramatically. the curtain of one of the beds were dragged closed. Slowly walking towards the bed, Shinyu slides the curtains away, meeting a sleeping Eunha and a sleeping Youngjae sitting beside the bed.
"He looks like a husband looking out for his coma-induced wife." Hanjin comments, shocked by what he's looking at.
"So do I wake them up?" Hana asks. They all shake their heads. However, the sleeping girl starts shuffling and opens her eyes.
"Oh hi guys. um what time is it?"
------------
The awards ceremony came along. The group broke into their team colors and all students of the school did the same. There were 4 teams in total. Hana and Eunha were in Red, Dohoon and Youngjae in Green, Kyungmin and Jihoon in Blue and Hanjin and Shinyu in Yellow.
The Greens and Yellows competed each other for first place in almost all categories. That is until this year many found the Red as a rival for 'Cheerleading' People would simply call it a dance competition and many of the Red team were dancers and took dance classes.
Through the school's four years of including a dance competition, the Green team always won first so students weren't so sure how the results would differ this time.
"Ok everyone!! Your awaited results are in!! Let's start with.....Football!!" The principal seems very happy today. The other teams cheer alongside while the Reds wait until the last category.
"In fourth place we have the Reds, third we have....Yellow and in FIRST PLACE...........GREEN HOUSE!" Everyone already knows the ranking so they cheer tor a bit before letting Dohoon give his speech.
The volleyball category came and as everyone knows, "FIRST PLACE GORS TO GREEN HOUSE AGAIN!" Choi Youngjae, a trusted member of the volleyball team. He left to focus on studies for a few months and came back as co-captain. All seniors were the captains of the sports but since most of them left for their 'class party'. Each team has a designated person to give their speech. Thus, when the principal announces Youngjae's team win, he steps out and thanks everyone and his teammates for a great game to end the year.
"On to the last category and the most anticipated category. The only category where the results have not been shared yet." The principal announces. Eunha and her team hold hands in a circle, heads down, wishing that it was going to be their one and only first place. Other members of the Red house stand around, hoping that they would bag one win through the day.
"In last place.....we have......no, shall we start with third place?" Everyone grunts and many voices of disappointment are heard. "Sorry everyone~ In fourth place we have Blue House. You did excellent and only lost to third place by 2 points. Third place is...drumroll pleaseeee.... Yellow!!."
Eunha's heart is about to drop, she doesn't know what to expect. She wants to expect the worst but her heart can only resist the feeling for so long. Her friends look at her with worry too, their own hands are clasping and their minds are forcing the principal to quickly announce the winner. They want Eunha to win.
"In first place, winning the second place by ten points we have... have? we have.... RED TEAM!!!"
Eunha lets go of her peers' hands to cover her mouth in shock. Everyone around her jumps in joy. They all accept that they'll overall come in last and used the left over happiness into their hard-earned win. Though Eunha wasn't the designated speech person they assigned, her teammates push her signaling they want her to be the one to do so.
Eunha stands in shock with a mic in hand.
"I want to first say that I'm very happy with the results and want to thank those who enjoyed every last bit of the performance. I had a fun time preparing for this show and bonded with so many people all throughout. Although the results may not be as everyone wants, I hope other dancers know that I enjoyed all their performances and think that they deserve all the compliments! Let's do this again next year!" Eunha gives her speech with teary eyes that drop every time she gibes her eye smile.
Her friends all clap with wide smiles plastered on. Standing beside Youngjae, Dohoon looks over at the girl and studies her appearance. Eunha had a huge thin shirt that dropped to just above her knees, covering her dance outfit that was barely visible.
"Hey, whose shirt is that?"
