Third person POV
Eunha is waiting for Youngjae at his building like they had talked about. She's already planned her week's worth of food that he would have to buy for her. She didn't want take out for the whole week so she insisted to go grocery shopping after their classes. Her plan was to crash at his place whenever she felt like home-cooked food.
Youngjae gave her the elevator's access card back. He knew what was to come for him when she happily took it and didn't bat an eye to him when she left, holding the card with both hands.
"You came pretty quick, are you that excited to see me."
"You said you were coming down ten minutes ago, Youngjae"
"Oh there were parents moving in their kid's stuff next door. I had to help."
They walk towards Youngjae's car, bickering like how they would before the fight. Once the two got in, Youngjae starts the car and drives to their university.
" You can sleep if you want. We have like an hour before the class starts. I can drive around for you?" Youngjae suggests when he sees Eunha getting sleepy. She looks over and gives a small 'hm' to tell the boy she was off to dreamland.
Youngjae drives off the road to the university and stops at a drive through.
"Can i have one medium sized fries, one fish burger and one cheeseburger with no onions and pickles?"
Youngjae drives to the next window, picking up the food.
"Are you guys in university? You and your girlfriend look so young~" The worker compliments the two, leaving Youngjae flustered.
"A-ah thank you. Yeah, class is starting a little later so I came to buy us some food." He smiles, not knowing if he should tell the worker that they're friends.
"It's been a long time since I've seen such a caring boyfriend. Have a good day!"
Saying a goodbye back, Youngjae goes back on track to the university, parking at a spot in the parking lot.
"Eunha, wake up." He nudges the girl. Eunha jumps up from her slumber, looking lost.
"I bought some food from the burger place around here." He hands her the fries and the cheeseburger, taking out his own in the process.
"i dont want-"
"its fine. no onions and pickles. now eat up we have like forty minutes and you eat like a turtle." Just like how he reads her mind, he knew that she would complain about having onions in her burger.
They both started eating, Youngjae turning on some music that he's been wanting to sing. He hums to the song, unwrapping his fish burger.
Even though the pair shares alot of food together from time to time, Eunha secretly eyes the burger in Youngjae's hands, not saying a thing since she's seen many videos of girls always taking their boyfriend's food. Well they aren't together but she did not want to emit that vibe.
She looks at her own burger, spinning it around to find the perfect first bite. When she opens her mouth, another burger came into view. Youngjae hands his burger to her, his mouth full from the first bite.
"I have eagle eye, Eunha" No doubt the boy saw Eunha eyeing his food. He wanted that cheeseburger anyway so a switch wouldn't kill him.
"Not yet, you took one bite so I must take one bite first. Balance." A laugh came out of Youngjae. At a time like this, Eunha was still very keen on them two getting the same amount of burger. Once she took a bite, she happily switches their burgers.
