Third person POV
"Are you sure you'll let me go on this trip? Its four days"
"Of course! We've been practicing for two whole weeks and the uni gave us a break! Everyone is going on a trip, Eunha."
All performances were decided and confirmed. As they've been practicing non stop for two weeks, the university gave them a week off since they need to renovate some parts of the building as well.
"Then I'll meet everyone Saturday. Bye!"
Eunha walks to Youngjae who was waiting at his car. He made it his routine to bring her back with him everyday, buying her dinner. However, Eunha's two weeks free meals ended a day ago so he didn't really have an excuse to be bringing her home.
"I'm so excited for tomorrow! You're going to be driving right?" Eunha excitedly asks Youngjae, not believing that they're finally going on a trip.
"Shinyu hyung said he wants to drive so I'm not sure. He's bringing his family's gigantic car." Youngjae keeps his phone and opens the passenger door before walking towards the driver side.
"Can we have a mini roadtrip before we go to our dorms? I still haven't used my free question coupon." Eunha looks towards the male, hoping for a positive answer
"Why not? I've been wanting to know what you'll ask."
Youngjae starts the car and drives endlessly. As it was late in the night when Eunha finished practice, there weren't many cars around which creates the perfect vibe for a drive.
"I don't know if I should ask this," Eunha looks out the window, not wanting to see him, "I just want you to tell me about that fight. Every single detail. Please?"
He wasn't shocked this was her question. He knew it couldn't be avoided so he had already planned on what to say. Their lowkey situationship made it harder to keep the little past away.
Youngjae parks his car near a river where people usually hangout at. He stares into blank space for a moment before sighing
"Let's go sit there, yeah?" He points towards a small spot on the grass. They get out of the vehicle and sit silently, Eunha waiting for Youngjae to say something.
"I'm wasn't planning on not telling you if you're worried. It's just an embarrassing thing to talk about, you know, you probably heard some of it" The stars seem so pretty that Youngjae couldn't look anywhere else.
"How bad can it be? I've told you so many things, I'm ready to hear yours too." Her eyes are fixed on the boy, wanting to hear every last bit.
So they sat there, Youngjae sharing everything he's kept from the girl. They weren't worried about the trip they haven't packed for yet. The moment was about them and his stories.
From the twelve of them getting broken by others, his relationship with people and the fight he had with Jihoon.
"So how have you been feeling?"
"It's getting better, Shinyu hyung and Jihoon has been helping me alot" He finally turns towards her, eyes glistening from the tears that were begging to escape. "I just wished I never felt that way."
"It's not wrong to feel that way, I'm also glad that you made it clear to Jaehyun that he didn't do anything wrong." She reaches her hand out to pat him in the back. "You were very mature, Youngjae."
"Doubt it" They sat there looking at the star-filled sky until something occured to Eunha.
"I had a classmate during elementary school who had the same name as you." Eunha brings up "But it can't be you right? You probably attended the same school as the others"
"No? We knew each other since babies but attended different elementary schools. Our parents made us move together during sixth grade, all seven of us"
"Seven? There's only six of you?"
"Jaehyun was like a part of us, he made new friends during sixth grade so we were like a huge group of twelve"
"Then tell me, did you attend Starhigh School? The boy who shared watermelon with me every summer."
"That was you?! My seat mate that always talked with her bestfriend during class?" Youngjae's eyes widens with the fact he just discovered.
"That means I knew you and Hana before Dohoon! How come I didn't recognize you at the beach? How come you guys both changed names?"
"Too many questions Youngjae!" Eunha smiles as she realizes she successfully changed the subject.
"We both coincidentally changed our names when we moved to our middle school." She remembers her first day of school when they didn't recognize each other because of their names.
"Plus I wore glasses to school and not to the beach. You probably remembered me as the watermelon glasses."
"I remember you as Kim Wonha"
"I can't believe we've met each other so many times"
