There's something about watching Violet get ready for the day that makes me feel peaceful. Maybe it has something to do with how domestic the scene is like we've been together for decades rather than days.

I'm not entirely sure how to explain it. I like watching her mind spin as she rummages through her clothes for the outfit she wants for work.

She has a certain look she's going for, professional but not stuck up, and it's interesting to watch her figure it out. I could be ready too far into this, but it's interesting all the same.

She puts on a gold and silky skirt, a white tank top, and white Converse shoes.

Violet kisses me on the top of my head before walking out of her bedroom, closing the door slowly behind her. I hear her and Harper begin to talk as I fall back onto the bed.

A warm blush rises to my cheeks, but I am quick to get into the shower to stamp it out before Violet comes back into the bedroom to see what she does to me. I change into a random t-shirt, jeans, and my Devil's Rose MC cut and walk out of the bedroom to meet Violet and Harper in the kitchen.

Harper giggles and smiles mischievously at me the second I am in eyesight of her, so I know that she knows what Violet and I got up to this morning.

"Did you hear us or did Violet tell you?" I question, curious how she found out.

"My bedroom is on the other side of the apartment, I didn't hear you. Your girl revealed it with the after sex glow. She didn't have to say anything."

"Though, I immediately did before she even questioned me about it," Violet confesses.

"Did you at least tell her my dick is big?"

"Pull it out, so I can see if she's telling the truth," Harper teases without hesitation which causes Violet to groan and a blush to erupt on her cheeks.

I grab a coffee and get some leftovers from the fridge to eat for breakfast. Out of the corner of my eye, I watch Violet move around her apartment, gathering her things for work.

Unfortunately, not that she knows this, but I know that I'm going to be unable to let her be without protection for an entire day. Kai is still out there, and while we are getting closer to solving that issue, I'm not about to get lazy with protecting her.

I'm just getting started with her. I'm not about to lose her now.

When we are both ready to head out, she gets into her car, and I follow behind her on my motorcycle.

With a kiss goodbye, one out in public which I wasn't expecting quite yet to be honest, I make sure she gets inside Vellichor safely before driving down Main Street to headquarters.

I have a prospect checking in on her every hour, just outside the shop to see if she's good, I have hacked into the security cameras, and Gabby is on speed dial in case anything happens.

The more I think something is going to happen, I'm going to manifest it into existence, but I can't help but worry. This woman has changed my entire life. It would be odd of me not to worry about her.

And I still can't believe that this morning even happened.

That was not on my bingo card. I don't regret a single second of it, but it was just unexpected. Especially after we had both been sort of professional up to this point. Violet doesn't seem to regret it either.

She probably would have communicated that already, either verbal or with her body language, but I haven't seen any intense and sudden changes. She surely had a pep in her step this morning, however, there were no signs of regret or guilt.
