There were three locations that the djinn could be.

Even though Dean thought you were safe back at the bunker, he still wanted to update you on what was happening so that it wouldn't drive you crazy not being able to be there with everybody.

You almost felt guilty when you'd casually reply back, acting as if you weren't on your way.

The first place you pulled into was an abandoned storage unit facility and you knew it'd be a challenge to check every room, but you've done this before.

Skip to about forty minutes later, you're walking out of that warehouse with djinn blood splattered across your clothes, smeared across your face, and nursing the deep cut next to your collarbone with some peroxide.

No Cas.

Checking your phone, they didn't find him at the first location they checked either, some old barn, and now they're heading to a warehouse and you knew you had to meet them there.

Sure, Dean would be angry you came, but at least you cleaned out a place and you're just trying to help Cas.

He's family.

Dean gets that.

Driving up to the place, you could tell the party already started without you because you saw Dean and Sam fighting off a handful of djinns while you assumed Jack went inside to find Cas. You stepped on the gas, aimed just right, and smashed into a couple of them before hopping out of the jeep with your blade and finishing them off.

The crash distracted everyone and when you slammed your door shut, you could feel Dean's glare on your back, but you ignored it. Stabbing the djinn felt better than you'd ever admit, and you swung around to help them with the rest while they tried to compose themselves.

You grabbed the last djinn about to tackle Dean and stabbed him through the chest, panting heavily as he fell to the floor, revealing a panicked Dean on the ground in front of you.

You shrugged, wiped your blade on the body, and then offered him a hand to which he took with a grunt.

"Cas inside?" You asked, skipping the greeting.

"Yeah, but-" Sam started, and you kissed Dean quickly in apology before running into the building, blade at the ready.

Slipping inside, you turned right and made your way around the opened area that was more like a maze with the shelves and boxes that filled it.

"Excuse me? Where's the little girl's room?" You asked, getting the attention of the two djinns who were acting like guards in the middle of the room.

"Hunter!" One hissed and you rolled your eyes before shooting the one with your shot gun and hitting the other with it as he went for a punch.

You whipped out your blade and stabbed the one who fell on the ground, but the other one pulled you off and you lost your grip on it. His tattoos started to grow on his arms, and they almost reached you, but you grabbed your spare blade and stabbed it through his heart right before you heart a gun shot. There was a searing pain in your arm, and you fell forward while the djinn fell behind you.

"Fuck!" You yelled, grabbing your arm and swinging around with your shotgun at the ready only to be aiming it at the brothers, "You shot me!"

"He was going to kill you!" Dean shouted and you scowled.

"I had that."

"Alright, can we skip the marital spat and just save Castiel?" Sam gestured around and you peeled your eyes off of Dean to look at him before nodding.
