A month and week later

Today is Aiden's birthday. He going to work today but his dad is throwing an office party while I set up a party at the house with just the people he wants to see. I had bought him a few gifts since I have already plan it before our break up.

This past month has been busy. I convince my mom to quit her job and become a property manager at the low income homes. Marie and Callisto has been helping her get her license and now that she pass her test, she seems so much more happier especially now and I think it's because she got her a 'friend'.

Tay and Brit are hitting a rough patch in their relationship. Isabelle and Jordan is so complicated that we don't know if they on good terms or not. Malik still single and loving it. Beth and Enzo... well I don't know. As far as me and Aiden were still broken up.

He would send note cards and flowers everyday. He will send voicemails telling me how much he loves and misses me. He even pays for more security to make sure I'm ok. He starts doing little things that he thinks I don't notice.

Every Monday night he comes to check on my Range and fill up my tank. Every Tuesday he will clean my yard and put the trash to the side of the road. Every Wednesday he would bring the trash can back and look out for my plants and speak to them. Every Thursday cut the grass or trim the bushes or put a new decoration in the yard. Every Friday he would wash the Range. Every Saturday he would drop off groceries and food, he would also put the trash to the side of the road. Every Sunday he would bring the trash can back and just speak into the ring camera or do something stupid to make me laugh.

Today is Sunday. I decided to wake up early so I could catch him. It's 5 o'clock in the morning when I see him pull up. He went to get the trash. He went in his car washing his hand with the water bottle and travel size hand soap he has in there. He drys his hands with napkins placing it the little compost tin before jogging over to leave a message. Before he presses the button he heard me unlock the door. I walk over to the kitchen setting up breakfast which is cereal.

He sat in the seat across from not know what to do. I made our breakfast and we ate in silence. Every once in a while we would glance at each other and smile. I love and miss his smilie. When we finish we both wash our dish.

I went to my room leaving the door open just in case he wants to come in which I know he does. I wore a crop top with a waist chain and light wash blue jean pants and tennis shoes. I wash and blow dry my hair yesterday. I went in the bathroom putting on my lotion and perfumes. Putting on my lashes and eye drops. I grab my chapstick and jewelry putting it on the bed.

I look up seeing Aiden on his phone, laid back with his legs spread. One of his legs is off the bed.  He wore a white wife beater that hugs his body and grey sweatpants, with Nike slides and socks. He has a grey hat but he lift it up a little bit  so he could get comfortable. He looks so good now.

I grab my cream purse make sure I put everything in. I decided to take the ring off the necklace putting it on my ring finger. I ask Aiden if he could help put on my bracelets and necklace while I put on my earrings. His hands linger a little long then necessary rubbing my shoulders, feeling down my arms resting on my waist. He lean down resting his head in the crook of my neck looking in the mirror. I rest my hands on top of his savoring the moment as we rock side to side.

With me being childish I threw him off making us smile. It feels nice being in his arms again but I'm still scared that he won't protect me and be there for me when I need him. I lean back into him and he wraps his arms around me securing me. I let out a tear that I didn't even know was coming. He kiss my temple holding me tighter.

"I got you." He whisper in my ear.

"How do I know that?"

Aiden
"You're just going to have to trust me." I turn around facing him fixing his hat.
