How would it feel to be wrapped around darkness? This was the moment Kevin was feeling. It looked like the universe before the Big Bang. Empty. Nothing. He slowly started to experience slight vibrations. Then, his eyes slowly open. He could see a blurry image of orange and white through the gap. Melodious chirping noises were singing in his ears. Kevin opens his eyes completely and looks at the sky. It was Orangish-white in colour.

His head turns to his left. He sees the foamy waves washing over the fine sand next to him. He gets up on his legs immediately. He was on a clean island with no other land that could be seen across the ocean. The sun settled like a perfect semicircle on the quiet ocean.

"Where am I? What place is this?" He wondered.

He checked behind him all he could see were coconut trees. Kevin starts to search for people.

"Hello...Is anyone there?" Kevin shouted. "ANYONE!!"

Nobody responded to his voice. He walks for another mile ahead. Unexpectedly, He notices the lifeless body of a woman with her hair splayed in all directions on the floor. Kevin runs towards the woman. He falls to his feet and slowly removes the hair over her face. At that moment, His jaw dropped. WTF???

It was Natasha. Her eyes closed. Her hair was wet and spread around on the sand. Her thin lips went parched. Kevin smiled as he pulled a strand of her hair behind. Her clear olive skin was glowing with the sun's rays. He strokes his hand lightly over her face, silently admiring her. He felt an electric shock jolt into his finger suddenly.

Then, Natasha starts coughing out water. Kevin's heart flutters at her cough. She is going to see him. However, something spoils his moment again. A loud noise started to reverberate all over the island. He looked around the island. He couldn't see anything. The noise continued it was rhythmic. It began to annoy the soul out of him. He closed his ears and eyes in pain.

Then, his hand swings and smashes the snooze button on the clock. Wait. What? Kevin wakes up in a startle pushing the bedsheet of his face. Now, he noticed he was on a bed. He feels something cold on his neck. The blue-coloured pendant was hanging around his neck. He spat in anger.

"No way. No way, it was a dream." He shouted. He placed his index and thumb finger a millimetre apart. "This close. I was just this close. Ok, let's forget it."

He checks around the room again. The whole room was so clean with everything in its place. He noticed a dressing table to the left filled with cosmetics over it. This was too clean to be Kevin's room.

Then, A mature woman dressed in a coat entered the room with a cup of coffee in her hand. She looked like she was 30 but was a parent. She had her hair neatly tied in a bun. She gave an elegant smile with her large brown eyes. "Those eyes? I saw it somewhere." Kevin said in his mind.

"Hi, son. What's your name?"

"My name is Kevin, Aunty."

"I am very sorry for the accident last night, Kevin. Sometimes, my husband is a little careless while driving. Are you fine?"

"Yes. Yes." He assured even after the pain was there in his back. "Whose room is this, by the way, Aunty?"

"Oh, this. It's my daughter's. Her name is Natasha. She must be your age." She said. "She told me she would be at her friend's house. So, I offered you, her room."

Kevin's eyebrows raised.

"Natasha from Christ Xavier's school?"

"Yes."

"11th Grade?"

"Yes."

"Am I dreaming?"

"No." She laughed. "Why do you think so?"

The island was filled with vibrant colours ranging from the large brown trees to the fine blue sky.  The island was filled with colourful birds and exotic animals. Everything represents the symbol of harmony.  After all, It was the love island.

Natasha's body was lying on the beach. Her body remained still in the sand. Then, her legs shook as she felt the cold touch of the sea waves. She woke up immediately. Her mind was trying to comprehend the situation. After a lot of thought, she finally decided.

"HELP!! HELP!"

No one responded to her pleas. Then, she turned around to find footprints next to her. With one wash of the sea, It vanished immediately.

"Someone was there?"

Ranjan was sitting on his desk with Amrit's case file on him. He was looking at his background to get some clues. His office had glass walls and a glass door to enter.

He takes a sip of tea in the small glass cup.

Then, he hears a knock on the door.

"Come in." He replied.

He lifts his head and finds Sally pushing the door.

"Sir, you called me?"

"Yes. Please sit down here with us." Ranjan pointed to the chair.

Sally sits on the black cushioned chair opposite Ranjan's desk. She starts to bite her nails in anxiety looking at Ranjan's stare. She was just praying she didn't give out any important information to him.

"So, Sally, I heard you stay with your uncle. Is this true?"

"Yes. He took me from my orphanage."

"Hmm... Did you have any internal fights with your uncle?"

"No." Sally eyed him suspiciously.

"Has your uncle told you any secret or anything which he wasn't supposed to do but he did it?"

"Nothing."

Ranjan's hand went to take another sip of the tea. He noticed the cup was vibrating. Sally was shaking her legs on the bottom of the desk. Her anxiety about being near the police was scaring her.

"Sally, please understand. There's nothing to be scared of if you haven't done anything wrong. I will ensure no one hurts you during this interrogation process. So, whatever it is speak out the truth."

"I am sorry. I am having a hard time." Ranjan said. "My aunt died recently too."

"Wait. I didn't receive this news. When did this happen?"

"Last night. The police came in the morning."

Ranjan rests his face on both his palms in tiredness. He inhales a large amount of air and exhales slowly. Through the gap between his fingers, He notices slight tears fall from Sally's eyes.

"Fine. My questioning is over, Sally. You may leave." Ranjan sighed.
