It was early in the morning when Amira woke up, about 7-8:00am. She ate breakfast, got dressed into a cute summer dress before walking outside with her chapter book about herbs and medical care, just to sit under the beautiful cherry blossom tree in her backyard, Amira had a good life and nice parents who would do anything to please her, but one day that was taken away..
Sitting under the tree reading her book for about and hour, she headed back inside for lunch. Walking into the huge house she began questioning why she didn't hear the clinging of knifes on the cutting board or her mother and fathers snickers about the little jokes they made while cooking. She got worried when the house fell into a eerie silence.
She began looking around the house for her parents, calling their names, texting their phones, even calling, but no answer... She couldn't find them anywhere.
A couple of moments later she looked into one of the rooms she never thought she'd look into... The basement..
The basement was a place her Mother and Father told her not to go because of all the dangerous chemicals and weapons down there, but this time she would break the rules just to find relief of her parents being safe....
She slowly crept down the stairs to the basement, the stairs creaked and cracked as she stepped on them. She finally reached the end and the things she saw she would never forget...
