"Wait, is there someone who has managed to free themselves from Merlin's illusion?" Artoria jumped upon hearing that information.

"You don't seem so special," Mordred mocked Merlin.

It seemed strange that someone could be free of Merlin's illusions. Even Yuto struggled to understand what was going on and how to get out of it. And Yuto was among the world's strongest.

"What should we do?" Shirou asked.

"We will divide," Yuto said firmly. "Tristan, Gareth, gather your soldiers and protect the city.

"Restrain anyone who refuses to cooperate."

The soldiers from the capital would arrive soon, and Yuto anticipated strong resistance from the residents. This would have heightened tensions, potentially leading to violence.

"Try not to involve civilians. If necessary, tell the truth," Yuto instructed.

"What about the rest of us?" Mordred inquired.

"There are rebels in the mountains to the north. I want to meet them and bring them on my side," Yuto stated.

"How are you going to convince them?" Mordred asked.

"I do not know. I'll try to persuade them, or even corrupt them. If anything works, I'll use hypnosis," Yuto said, concerned. "Gawain, you're with me."

Gawain nodded in agreement.

"The others will take the main road. Try to avoid cities as much as possible," Yuto advised.

Yuto gave them some items, including his best maps, enough healing and mana potions, and anything else he thought would be useful.

"Jack, I trust you'll protect everyone," Yuto said, passing his hand through the London assassin's hair.
"Can Jack...?"

"Okay, but keep in mind that people are deceived," Yuto said. "Do it only if absolutely necessary and with the greatest mercy you can offer them. Above all, don't endanger your own comrades.

"Jack promises she will try," Jack said with a smile.

Yuto smiled back. He put Jack in the waggon and then approached his parents and adoptive mother.
"The road is quite rough. Beware of bandits and magical beasts along the way," Yuto advised, casting a quick glance at his daughter Martha. "Protect her for me."

"Like she's ours," Shirou swore.

"That's not necessary," Yuto said, with a drop of sweat falling from his forehead.

Yuto approached his daughter.

"Aren't you coming with us, Dad?" Martha asked.

"No, Mom and I will join you once we are done here. It won't be long," Yuto promised, crossing his little finger with his daughter. "Ah, I promise there will be a big surprise when I return."

"A cake as big as a castle?!" Martha said, imagining the cake and drooling profusely. "Delicious."

Yuto laughed at his daughter's love of sweets.

"Okay, be good while I'm gone and do what your grandparents tell you," Yuto said, hugging her daughter gently. "Well, Gawain and Mordred, let's go. "We'll ride all night and try to arrive by dawn tomorrow."

Only a few days had passed, but Duke Silvan had already heard about the Count's death. Eric Silvan was the head of the same-named family. He was a tall, solidly built man. His silver hair was combed back, and his blue eyes reflected an almost inhuman calm and coldness.
