During his Holy Grail War, Yuto received deadly glances from all the remaining masters and servants because he and Saber were considered the most dangerous along with Morgan and Archer. Someone even tried to kill him using traps and blackmail, so having a sword pointed at his throat was not a big deal for him and he could handle this situation easily. And not even the hard look that promised suffering would worry him so much.

"Yuto Pendragon," Erza said in no way intending to remove the tip of his sword from the magus's neck, "Don't play dumb with me and don't try to make excuses if you hold your head"

Hearing the threat, Yuto could not help but giggle a bit. He was not the least bit scared of her and could easily overpower her. "Erza Scarlett," he said with a funny grin on his face, "you're as terrible as the voices describe you."

Lucy and Happy, the first sitting on the beach while Natsu's best friend was hung upside down and held back by Erza, watched the scene in disbelief before their eyes. The mighty Erza had pointed her sword at Yuto's neck, but he was still so carefree and even joked with her. Either he was brave or too stupid. Erza, on the other hand, did not seem at all upset by this and made a slight gesture with the sword.

"Come with me," she ordered with a powerful voice, "we will go and fetch the others and return to the guild."

Then she lowered her sword and began to walk towards the village. Happy was still in her other hand while Lucy was following her silent and mute, although she had some trouble standing, as her torso was tied. However, Yuto had not moved a millimetre.

"I have no intention of following you," he said with a firm voice as he turned to Erza.

Erza, now angered by Yuto's rebellious and undisciplined attitude, had turned to him again and put her sword to his throat again. The left eye was burning with rage while the right eye was hidden by her long scarlet hair. To the surprise of the Fairy Tail members, Yuto did not even try to escape and his eyes showed no fear.

At this new sign of defiance, Happy and Lucy were white as ghosts while spirit entities emerged from their bodies. Yuto had proven himself to be a skilled wizard and a man with no scruples when it comes to killing. However, his opponent is Erza Scarlett, the most powerful and feared woman in the guild.

"I said you will come with me to the village and then we will return to the guild," she said, releasing her powerful aura to look menacing.

Yuto grabbed the sword without hesitation as the blood began to flow from his hand. "I said no, and nothing will change my mind, not even you," he said forcefully as he broke Erza's sword with his bare hands, much to everyone's shock, "not when the villagers are suffering because of Moon Drip."

Erza said nothing, while Yuto was staring at her without wavering for a moment.

"I joined Fairy Tail to find a purpose for my life. I am not doing this uneven work for the reward but to help the villagers who are suffering because of the curse," Yuto said in such a serious voice that he slowly appeased Erza's anger.

Yuto thought back to the time he protected the villagers and when he saved the people who were captured by the bandits. Their faces, which at that time presented no other emotion than the joy of being saved when all was lost, had made him understand the happiness of his grandfather Kiritsugo when he saved his father at the end of the Fourth Holy Grail War.
