A few minutes prior, nirei could have sworn his eyes weren't playing a trick on him and that he indeed saw the [h/c]-haired individual.
but when he blinked, she was gone in a flash.
"huh..? w-where'd she go..?" nirei pointed out a few moments later, where her figure was completely gone from when they last blinked from her previous spot.
"wh—how the hell did she disappear so quickly?!" sakura stammers in confusion, obviously puzzled to her sudden disappearance in a short amount of time.
one moment she's there, the next she's gone—like she's only lingering.
"she's like a ghost." suo briefly mentions, his voice soft yet held a tinge of curiosity.
he couldn't help but become intrigued. she was mysterious. he found it eye-catching.sakura glances over, not missing the glint of interest in his eye that disappeared as quickly as it came. the dual-haired male couldn't help but knit his brows in bafflement.
"you're weirdly obsessed..."
"why don't we focus back on the matter on hand?" suo was swift to brush sakura off, dismissing him completely. this only continued to add the fuel to his fire. while sakura silently fumed, taking it out on the thugs they fought against.
"my nose!"
for now, it was best for the maroon haired male to push his own curiosity back.
nirei was quick to agree with suo's suggestion, "w-we should report this back to umemiya quickly." the blonde proposed, earning a slight approval from suo. the gentle-natured male nods his head, his tassels swaying with each movement.
sakura flicks his gaze over to his voice captains in confusion, not catching up with what was conversed between the two.
"hah? why?" sakura grunts, twitching a brow up in mild confusion. he questioned nirei with slight hostility, scaring the blonde slightly.
"well.. for starters—" the blonde tried to explain, fiddling with his fingers.
"no need to explain, I'm sure he wouldn't get it if he's not patient enough." suo dismisses gently, interrupting nirei from his explanation. his intent was clear to invoke a reaction from the easily-baited sakura. it was quick to rub off from the said male, who didn't take teasing lightly.
"W-WHAT THE HELL IS THAT SUPPOSEDTA' MEAN?!" he bristles in annoyance.
"s-suo.. I think you should take it back..." nirei suggests, trailing off in hesitation. he shivers, already fearing for the worst when the atmosphere around their first year captain changed.
