AT the end of the disastrous night patrol, [name] sat in the cozy restaurant of keisei, somehow bunched in with furin rather than on her own. initially, she had followed along for questions she needed to ask from suzuri—to earn potential information.

in front, laid tons of dishes on the table, yet she couldn't find the proper appetite to devour anything at the moment. "..." she ultimately decided to sit near the twins, who were much quieter in the least. she'd preferred them for the lack of constant questioning for what she does, compared to a certain first year trio.

she needed time to think. to process everything that just literally happened. but she couldn't help but feel uneasy. a dreading hole in the pit of her stomach she couldn't quite place a finger on.

suo's brown eye(s) followed her moving figure, only then shifting his attention back to sakura scarfing down practical plates of food down his throat, nirei warning him to exactly not do that for his health and the sake of choking.

seiryu perked up at the chair being pulled one seat away from his, eyes following the [h/c]ette's figure settling down. he noticed the line between her eyebrows that he wanted to question. he opens his mouth, only to pause at the unexpected apology lingering the air. his head turned in slight surprise, and so did everyone else at suzuri's unexpected apology.

[name] remained facing the kitchen, her head unmoving. but she was listening.

"it's my fault that he tried picking a fight with all of you." suzuri spoke, his head casted downwards. "what's worse... I never knew he was a part of furin before." he admitted, clutching the fabric of his pants under the table. "I honestly..." he trailed off, voice becoming quieter. "..don't know what to say." he admits.

"what're you apologizin' huh?" sakura chimed in, voice muffled by the chunks of food in his mouth. suzuri's head perked up at his voice, eyes shifting towards the ying-yang, his heterochromia eyes peering back at his.

he blinks in confusion, "because I..."

"did you know?" [name]'s voice chimed in, yet she remained facing towards the kitchen.

"huh?" suzuri turned, his head craning over towards the back of the [h/c]ette at her words. the others perked up, shifting their gaze to the light hashira.

"about the demon. did he tell you about it?" she propped her cheek on her hand, her head half-turned to the side where others could see some of her face.

"I... only briefly knew about demon slayers before..." he admitted, "but he... didn't tell me... anything specific of a demon." he explained, going into further detail. "he only told me to capture a girl named shizuka narita, only providing background information, calling her a special case of something."
