Isabel's parents came rushing into the room, as they waited for her to calm down.
"Isabel,"
Her father begun with a serious look on her face.
"I know how you feel, but I just want you to know that if you say that in public, you could go to The Echoed Dungeons."
Isabel calmed down.
"So you aren't going to tell? You aren't going to make me go there?"
Isabel said with an emotional look on her face. She wiped her eyes and her father's words were true.
"I promise."
Isabel smiled and knew that her dreams were awaiting her. She sat down in her room and fell asleep, dreaming of what could happen next.
Isabel woke up bright and early to find the alpha waiting at the front door.
"Open up before all of you end up in The Echoed Dungeons!"
He screamed with a ferocious stare. He pounded on the door and Mother and Father went downstairs, opening the entrance with fear and anxiety. I hid in my room, covering my furry face underneath the chilly blankets.
My Mother was screaming to me and my Father ran upstairs over to me.
"Isabel,"
My Father begun with a worried look appearing on his face. He looked into my blue eyes and kissed me on the cheek.
"I'm sorry. The alpha's waiting for you: He's taking you to The Echoed Dungeons."
With hope lost and a bright relationship with my Father ruined, I didn't know what I should do. I couldn't speak. Now knowing that my own dad lied to me, I decided that I couldn't trust him. I stared at him.
"I knew this would happen."
I said.
My Father grabbed my paw and dragged me downstairs to the door. My Father watched me go and I glared at him the entire time. They dragged me all the way to The Echoed Dungeons, in front of everyone I knew and loved.
They threw me in my cell and chained me up.
"Now you have no way of escaping!"
The alpha laughed with an evil look on his face. I frowned.
"You're evil! You shouldn't rule these lands. Someone who is grateful and is full of kindness should rule them, but instead, you're nothing."
I screamed. The guards frowned and started whacking me with the baton.
"You'll regret saying that, Issy."
The guards hit me hard and didn't stop. Seconds later, I passed out, wishing that my Father didn't lie.
