It was over.
A time too soon, a time when Isabel could've landed and saved the world. No. Not for Isabel.
The twister spun Isabel around and round until she felt a sicker feeling full of butterflies roaming around in her stomach. She was ready to go. She wanted to go to Heaven and see her Granny.
"Isabel,"
The name echoed across the room, making Isabel go into a flashback. It wasn't right now that it was happening. Isabel opened her eyes. The room was full of darkness. A kind, recognized voice awaited her, making her heart feel like it was going to stop.
Lightning surround every corner of the room.
"You have to save the town. I cannot -- I don't know how to tell you this. If you don't save the town, the world will come to an end."
"But Granny, I don't know how to-"
"You are my child. My granddaughter. My hero. Isabel, I knew that this day would come. It is finally time to tell you that if you don't save the town, I will live in darkness forever."
"Wait, Granny? Who are you? I don't recognize who you are!"
"That's why you must save the town. When the time comes, you will live in the heavens above the sky. Every wolf experiences this. And if you don't save the town, that opportunity would be ruined. If you want to know who I am, become a wolf. Go out there. Be the wolf I know and remember."
"But Granny-"
"You are to return. And do as I say. Goodbye!"
"No, Granny, please don't go!"
She disappeared. The wolf that Isabel remembered. Gone. Forever. Isabel walked over to where Granny was. A little flower pot stood over the shadow. Granny's face appeared inside.
"Oh my gosh! Granny."
Isabel stared at the picture. What have I done? She thought. Instant memories of the past entered her mind, making a sudden voice bounce through the walls of the darkest room. This wasn't Granny. The picture isn't Granny. Not one bit of her face was memorable.
Isabel went up into tears.
Her heart fell broken.
"What a shame! What have I done?"
Isabel said, making her voice repeat itself across the room. A small light appeared, making Isabel walk towards it. With a sudden, and unexpected smile, Isabel chased it. The light led her to an open door.
Isabel was speechless. Her only memories were forgotten. Just then, the light surrounded the open door, making it break off. The green, moldy stains from the door exchanged itself with a shine of gold.
The door suddenly shined through, making it look like heaven. Isabel entered through it. She was walking on clouds. Blue lights and pretty, scented flowers rushed through the air. The dark room behind her flushed away.
"Isabel. Welcome to home!"
Granny, a familiar wolf smiled. She was an angle with wings. She was - real. She was really there. Shock flew through Isabel's mind.
"Granny? Am I dead?"
"Who says you are? Come up and give a hug!"
With a happy song playing, Isabel danced with Granny. Doves with flowers in their beaks joined them, flying through the air with golden, little sparkles following them in every direction.
"You aren't dead, Issy. This is a time that you say, 'I will do it.' It is a time that you realize how much you mean to the world. Earth needs you. Please. Just look at the bright future ahead of you."
"Bright future? What do you mean?"
Granny pulled out a mirror that led to Isabel's future. A picture of Isabel and her family formed. Then, a future full of Isabel defeating the alpha made things greater.
"Are you ready to begin?"
"What do you mean? I was born to be ready!"
"That's my Issy. Now go out there and show the world you're story!"
Isabel ran towards the door, leading back to Earth. She woke up, piled in a cage.
