"Why did you help me though?"
The mother asked curiously. Isabel looked down to the ground. She lied down and cried hard.
"My pack's leader. He's evil and we're slaves because of him. He killed many innocent pups for no reason. Sometimes, if they were bad, they would go to The Echoed Dungeons, a place where wolves are imprisoned and chained for a long time. Some of them would spend the rest of their lives there and would never see the light of the day again."
Isabel said as the mother smiled. She patted Isabel on the back, comforting her one by one. Isabel looked up to her and smiled. She wagged her tail and stood tall. She decided to have a plan with the wolves.
"Can you help me? I have a piece of an ancient map here and this is the way to defeating the evil leader. I will give you this cave with some fresh berries in return. Are you willing to do that for me and I'll trade you?"
Isabel asked. The mother looked back up and smiled.
"I can help you and I will help you. This is for you, your family, friends, and most of all, your pack and everyone you've lost."
Isabel trusted the mother wolf, turning back to the cave. She pulled out a journal and wrote a special message to her long-gone Grannie.
"Dear Grannie,
Today I met a family of wolves who can help me figure out this map. I decided to help them survive since I know all about it, but I also have some doubts. I want to tell you that I love you, and one day I am going to be the alpha."
