Isabel sat in the cave feeling alone. She didn't say anything to the mother or her pups. She didn't want them to get into a fight with a wild animal again, and if they did, Isabel would be the one getting blamed for it.

She sat beside the cave, viewing the pretty sunset that sailed above her head. She watched, sniffing the best flowers that were hiding all among her. Just like yesterday, and the day before, Isabel thought about Grannie.

"Dear Grannie,"

Isabel wrote, pulling out a notebook and a pen.

"Today was a weird, but fun day. I got to have lots of fun with the others, although we didn't talk or go near each other much. Tomorrow, I plan on making things better. Sending love and prayers to your soul and your heart.

Love, Isabel."

Isabel watched as the sun dropped and the moon formed. It was full moon today and Isabel kept howling. She didn't stop until a second after the mother came over, asking her to be quiet. Isabel nodded and apologized.

"Sorry. I'm just-"

"You're fine. We've already been through that!"

The mother said with happiness. The two of them rolled onto the ground, smiling and laughing at each other. They already had forgiven each other, just like how Isabel want to be forgiven. They rested their heads, waiting for the sun to come back up. Isabel didn't fall asleep until her warm thoughts comforted her.
