Isabel stared at the alpha.
"I'll make sure that it will happen."
Isabel said with confidence, and strength, hoping that it will happen and that she was strong enough to do so. The alpha kept whipping her with the baton until Isabel was knocked out once again.
Isabel passed out, hoping for an idea of how to escape in the morning.

Isabel knew that being punished was the worst thing that could happen. That's why she regretted talking in her cell in the first place. She didn't understand why you couldn't talk. Was it for slavery? Was it dangerous? Did it annoy the guards more than anything?
Unfortunately, Isabel had to wait to escape. She had to heal her head in time before the alpha became worse. Isabel thought about why he was so evil in the first place.
A second later, a beautiful-looking nurse turned to her.
"Hello there, my name's Becca. I'm the nurse here at The Echoed Dungeons, and I'm here to talk to you about why you said those things about the alpha. Is there something bothering you? Are you abused at home?"
She asked. Isabel was too zoned out to say anything. The wall, for some reason, was her favorite thing to stare at.
"Issy, are you okay?"
The nurse repeated.
"Totally fine,"
Isabel said slower than a turtle crossing the street. Her bright smile grabbed attention to the nurse. Becca came up to her and pat Isabel's back carefully.
"Oh, what just happened?"
Isabel asked as the nurse slapped her forehead.
"Why did you say those mean things to the alpha?"
Isabel stared. She couldn't do anything else. The nurse slapped Isabel's cheek and she jumped up.
"Ouch! That was where the alpha hit me."
Isabel yelped.
"My apologies, I didn't mean to hit you there!"
Becca replied with a high-pitched squeak.
"Anyways, I want to escape The Echoed Dungeons. I'm not hurt, but something with the alpha's bothering me. He's just so mean and to be honest, I kind of feel bad for him. I wonder why he's so mean and I'm worried that he was abused."
Isabel lied, trying to act normal. The nurse nodded.
"That's so sweet of you to say that! And why do you want to escape?"
"The guards are so mean and it causes stress on me. It feels so uncomfortable with them. I know that they're trying to do their jobs, but I think that they're struggling with something of their own as well."
The nurse rubbed Isabel's chin.
"I know the truth - you want to stop the alpha? Is that right?"
The nurse looked at her seriously.
"You can admit it. I won't tell."
The nurse smiled and Isabel told the truth.
"Fine. I want all of us to be free from slavery. I want to know why the alpha is doing this. I seriously don't care if he's going through something because that's selfish. And the guards, they have to listen to the alpha."
Becca smiled with a happy idea.
"Can I help you escape?"
She asked.
