Yoko
After all of my classes ended. I went directly to the faculty office to grab all my things. I want to go home first to change and get some clothes so that I can go directly to school tomorrow right after I went to the hospital. It was traffic and I am planning not to use my car today I'll just use my baby boy today (my motorbike). To avoid traffic when going to Faye.
While I was parking my motorbike I almost hit a car. I remove my helmet and was waiting for the driver to come out to say sorry, coz I know it was my fault. When suddenly the driver went out and smiled at me.
C – Hi Yoko. Sorry are you hurt?
Y – I 'm good, sorry I didn't see that you're going out, I thought there's no one inside.
C – It's good, no harm done. Btw I like your ride.
Y – Thanks, this is my baby boy (Ducati 848 Evo) I bought it after I graduated college.
C – Wow that's nice. You and Faye do have a lot in common. She does love motorbikes. She also have one just like that. Apart from her car collections she also have 3 motorbikes.
Y – Wth? Car collections and 3 motorbikes? Haha what a collection. I only have 2 cars 1 is given by my mom and 1 car and motorbike which I bought myself.
C – When Faye was little she is so fascinated by cars. When the mechanic visits our house to check our father's car she's always nearby watching she learned how to check and change everything. So now she's the one who always check the car and motorbikes. I thought she's going be a mechanic. But she said. She love doing it for her family not for other people. That's why she took on a different path.
Y – Wow. We haven't talked about that and I didn't know you guys are that rich.
C – Well to be honest. My family is rich. But Faye, She have her own wealth and I don't know where to begin. She doesn't like showing off. That's why the people on the café doesn't know that she's the CEO of our company here. I bet you didn't know also. Faye is too humble, except for her being pretty. Which is sometimes very annoying.
Y – Well, in her defense. She's really pretty. She has everything.
C– You really love my sister haha
Y – I do, but regardless. She really is Gorgeous, btw. Are you going somewhere?
C – I just came back. There's an urgent meeting at the company. I represented Faye because you know. She's still resting.
Y – Ohm okay. Is it okay if I come inside? I want to stay with her again. I already brought my change of clothes for tomorrow.
C – That's not a problem. But you also need to rest. I know you just came from your class. And I can see that you haven't slept in a while.
Y– I am resting when I am with her.
C – OMG, Your sweetness is killing me. Come on let's go inside.
(Inside Faye's hospital room)
C – Nana, we're here. Thank you for watching Faye. You may take your leave. Thanks again Nana.
N – That's not a problem Chet. I took care of you two when you were kids. And I would gladly do until you have your own kids.
C – Thanks Nana. You're the best. That's why we love you.
N – I love you two also.
Nana whispered to Chet is that your girlfriend?
C – No Nana, this is Yoko. Faye's Friend. The one I told you that will come.
N – Oh hi Yoko. Thank you for being there for my Faye.
Y – No problem, I would stay by her side as long as I can. (I looked at Chet sadly)
N – Ohm somethings off but I don't wanna pry. I'll take my leave now. Take care children. Bye
C & Y – Bye Nana take care.
C – I'll order us some food. What do you want to eat?
Y – I don't know. Anything will do.
C – I'll order us some Chinese food. Is that okay?
Y – Yeah sure. Thanks.
C – Go rest first. You can take a nap beside her if you like.
Y – I'm good. I don't want her to wake up and found me sleeping beside her.
C – Just so you know. She would probably love that haha.
Y – I don't want to assume things Chet. I'll wait for her to wake up then I will talk to her.
I'm going to confess everything.
C – That would be really good. Go rest for now.
Y – Okay. Thanks.
(After an hour)
C – Yoko, wake up. The food is here. Let's eat then I'll go home. I need to finish something.
Y – Sorry. I just want to take a short nap. But the looks of it. It's not short hehe.
C – Still not enough rest for you. Come on the food will get cold.
Y – Thank you for the food.
How long do you think Faye's going to sleep?
C - The last time this happen it took her a week. We thought she's in a coma but the doctors said she's just hibernating.
Y – Hibernating? Like a bear? Hehe. So cute.
C – Yupp. I don't know how she do that. I can't even sleep for 12hours straight.
Y – I have an Idea. Faye does have insomnia. She can't sleep properly in the night. Sometimes she just take a nap then she starts working again. Maybe this is her body's way of saying that it needs rest.
C – Maybe. When she wake up talk to her about that. I'm pretty sure she'll listen to you.
Y – I'll try my best Chet. I don't want this to happen again. I am worried sick.
C – Thanks Yoko. I'll go now. Thanks for staying again.
Y – You are welcome. Take care on your way.
It's me and you again Bebe. I miss talking to you. I know you need this rest. But I hope you wake up soon. I miss our conversation. I miss our banters. I miss everything. How I wish. I didn't get my pride on the way. I held her hand and kept talking to her until I fell asleep. Thinking when will this girl wake up.
