Yoko's POV
It's been six months since Faye and I first talked. We talk on the phone almost every night and sometimes we even fall asleep talking to each other. I often make him my audio book haha. I often request that she read me a book so I can fall asleep. Faye is already teasing me that I made her a my very own story teller and then she will laugh at me. Sometimes I visit her café when I want to unwind or after class and she always makes me my dog latte art. I haven't asked her why out of all designs she chose dog.
I was on my way to her café coz Freen and I decided to meet half way she's from Quezon City and I'm from Pasay so we agreed to meet in the middle which is manila.
As I was approaching the café I saw Faye and a guy talking outside her café. She's smiling while the guy clings to her. I felt sad all of a sudden and I don't know why so I decided to just go inside directly. (I hope I can also make her smile like that) I sat in a chair a not too far away from the view of the counter. As I was waiting for my cousin. I saw Faye and the guy she's talking came inside the shop hugging her from the back and I felt a tinge of jealousy coz I wish I could also do that to her.
A few minutes later while I was scanning my phone I was surprise to see Faye holding a cup of latte with a dog art in it like the usual. I just smiled and thanked her. I let the Latte on the table. She seem confused but decided to go back to work. Minutes later I was shock a girl kissed me on the cheeks and sat in front of me. She saw the Latte and took a sip without asking for my permission. She was amazed by the look and taste of it. She said she liked the Latte and finish it she ordered another but the Latte that was served minutes later is just plain Latte. No art in it. While were talking I felt like someone's watching me. I look around and saw Faye looking at me but she's not smiling when she saw that I was also looking at her she took the hand of the guy she's talking to earlier and went out again the I saw her ride the car and went somewhere.
I was confused to why her expression was like that but didn't dwell on it and enjoy my time with the girl in front of me. Which is my ever so gorgeous cousin.
Because my cousin and I talked about so many things. We didn't notice the time and it's already pass 6 in the evening.
Fr – Cous come on, let's go home. You are waiting for someone who is not coming back.
Y – Who am I waiting for?
Fr – Cous you keep on looking outside for a while now. I know you're waiting for the cute Barista.
Y – I'm not waiting for her Cous. And technically she's the owner not just a Barista.
Fr – Wow owner nice. You know her?
Y – Yeah, she's my friend.
Fr – Why did you just say now?
Y – Why?
Fr – You should have said it earlier so that we can get the drinks and cakes for free.
Y – Wow, you're unbelievable. People will think you don't have money to pay for the food. You're rich and still looking for free food.
Fr – Haha. Free is free haha.
Y – You are really stingy.
Fr – Not really. But of course, if you are offered. Don't be tight-lipped. Haha
Y – You are really crazy. You're still free now I was the one who pay for everything.
Fr – Haha that's a different story. You know what I mean. Free food because the owner is a friend. Not because I'm your cousin. You're annoying.
Y – It's just the same. Your food is still free because I paid for it.
Fr – Okay alright. It's because you miss me.
Y – Wow I'm the only one who miss you.
Fr – Of course I miss you too.
Y – It doesn't seem like it. You really just want free food.
Fr – Wow. If I didn't miss you, I would have had coffee near my place. I would save money for the gas I used to get here haha
Y – Haha I am just kidding.
Fr – Hahaha. You sulk immediately. You know you are my favorite cousin.
Y – I'm your only cousin. You don't really have no choice.
Fr – Hahaha. I know. That's why I love you so much.
Y – You're annoying.
Fr – Hahaha. Love you
– But okay cous you said you weren't waiting for her. Let's go home. We still need to drive home.
Y – Haha. You talk like your house is very far.
Fr – it's not far but you know, the traffic is annoying.
Y – Yeah, you're right. By the way. Did you use your car today?
Fr – Yupp. How about you?
Y – I also use the car, Haha. It was so hot earlier.
Fr – Yeah, I know right.
– Let's go. Thanks for the treat. Next time again. Be safe going home.
I took Freen to her car. She kissed me near the lips and told me she loved me. It's not new to us, so I'm not surprised. I told her I love her too and she will be careful. Then she got into his car and left.
When I turn around to go to my car. I saw Faye and she's just looking at me then went inside the café. I think she's in bad mood that's why she ignored me hmmm. I was going to introduce her to my cousin earlier but because she was busy with her boyfriend she didn't pay attention to me.
After that I went to my car and drove home. WhenI arrived I took a shower then I thought if I should message him but I decidedto message her anyway. (Good night Beb sweet dreams <3)
