A few weeks passed, and the October air that blew in was cold and crisp.
Remus and Adhara grew closer, unknown to everyone around them. Neither of them wanted to know what would come of their newfound friendship if her family or his friends found out.
"Are you still not going to tell me?" Adhara asks as she stands in care of magical creatures beside Remus. No one was paying attention to them, since they were assigned partners, and they were brushing some furry thing.
"If I tell you then I won't be a mystery to you anymore, and I lose my appeal." He smiles gently and she rolls her eyes.
"I'm sure you, Mr Remus Lupin, have plenty of mysterious things about you." Adhara smiles gently and he nods.
"Bugs freak me out." He says and she laughs.
"What?" She smiles.
"Yep. Their eyes and their legs freak me out, there's too many of them." He shivers and Adhara smiles and thinks for a moment.
"The dark." She mumbles as her cheeks heat up.
"Hm?"
"The dark," she says louder, "I'm afraid of the dark."
At first he thinks she's joking and he's fully prepared to laugh, but when he sees the blank look on her face, he knows she's serious.
"Oh, that-" he begins, but she cuts him off.
"You're afraid of bugs, Lupin. Don't go making fun of me when I could chase you with a beetle and make you cry." She snaps, and he widens his eyes.
"I would not cry, and I wasn't making fun of you." He says.
"You're not?" She says quietly. She had only told Alecto about her fear of the dark, and the girl had nearly busted a gut laughing at her.
"No, no. It's, rational." He assures her.
"Thanks Remus." She smiles.
"You're welcome." He says, and they sit quietly and brush their animal for a bit.
"So if I covered your eyes with my hands would it scare you?"
"Shut up."

"You look happier, your aura is glowing." Pandora links arms with her as they walk down to the quidditch pitch.
The teams were scrimmaging today, and they wanted to show support for their friends.
"I feel happier." Adhara smiles at her happily.
"I suppose it's because of Remus Lupin, he is very handsome." She says, and Adhara stops. Pandora giggles and pulls her along.
"I'm not stupid. I've seen you guys, when you think no one else is around. Talking and laughing. It's cute." Pandora smiles and Adhara just rolls her eyes. Of course Pandora knew, she always knew.
"I hope we win, I've got a bet with Remus." Adhara mumbles as she settles into the Slytherin stands.
Gryffindor beats Hufflepuff, and Slytherin beats Ravenclaw, Slytherin beats Hufflepuff, Gryffindor beats Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff beats Ravenclaw, thus leaving the last match to Gryffindor and Slytherin.
