"Ugh your such a a brat, I swear." My mother joked only slightly. "Your going to this camp Y/N, you don't have a choice."
"But mom, i-" I tried to speak but was cut off my my mom.
"Shh, no buts. Just go pack, I'm going to work, love you sweetie!" She kissed my forehead before walking out the door, I just sat at the table rolling my eyes.

I finished eating my favorite cereal and stood up, stretching. The sun outside was still rising but with my mom, this is the perfect time to wake up, on weekends. Walking towards my bedroom I checked the day on my phone. "Its Sunday, meaning the bus should be here tomorrow, according to mom at least." Opening the door with a sigh I began to grab clothes and essentials for a dumb summer camp.

"I cant believe she is sending me there.. ugh" I mumbled as i put music on with my phone and ran around my bedroom packing. "I hope I don't end up forgetting anything important, that would absolutely suck." While digging through my closet, I noticed my old childhood stuffed animal. "Aww.. I forgot about you.. well that sounded nicer in my head." I sat the stuffed toy on my desk, sitting it beside my other strange junk there.

I was humming along to the song on my phone, when my favorite part came on. I began dancing around and singing, even if my voice wasn't very good. I felt like a star on a stage, except instead of a microphone.. I had a hairbrush. I giggled slightly and went back to packing since the next song on the playlist came on, and it wasn't nearly as hype. Looking around my room I had realized I had made a huge mess. "Oops.. haha.."

I didn't feel like cleaning it up, so I went to take a shower. Holding my hand under the cool water I waited for it to become the perfect temperature, boiling hot. Well not literally but mom says she could see steam under the door sometimes. I undressed and stepped into the shower, completing my business and such.

After the shower I dried off and put clean clothes on, instead of my pajamas. Taking a look at the foggy mirror, I laughed slightly. "I guess mom was right." I wiped the mirror and put my still damp hair in a ponytail/bun. (or nothing, whatever you prefer.) I went back into my bedroom and saw that I had a missed call from my best friend, Taylor. I grabbed my phone and called her back. "Hi Y/N!" She answered immediately.

"Hey, so why did you call me?"
"Oh right, so there is a bonfire at Sarah's place Wednesday, wanna come?" She said with  a voice in which you could hear her smiling.
"Uh, yeah no. I cant. My mom is sending me to some dumb summer camp, plus you know I hate stuff like that."
"Eh, I tried. But why is she sending you there? And when are you leaving? How long will you be gone? Please don't leave me Y/N!" She said laughing but trying to sound upset.
I laughed too. "Calm down, she is sending me there since apparently I'm 'not acting like a teenager' and not being social enough. I'm leaving tomorrow, and she said  its three months long. That's like all summer! This is gonna suck!"
She laughed at the way I was acting. It wasn't often I got so angry about something.
"Now who needs to calm down? Jeez Y/N why are you so upset, maybe you can finally get a boyfriend!" She only somewhat joked in her classic annoying sing-song voice.

I have never dated anyone before. Then again its not my fault all the boys at my school suck. With a sigh I responded to the idiot I call my best friend. "Okay first of all, you suck, second of all, Ew gross. I bet all the kids there got sent there since they wont touch grass and haven't showered in weeks" I said harshly, hoping that this was one of the many times I'm wrong about something, I don't want to smell that.

Taylor laughed for a bit then sighed. "Well talk soon, I gotta go. Make sure you text me when your at camp! Bye-!" She got cut of by the call ending. I sat and smiled at my phone before standing up. I began to clean the huge mess had made while packing for camp. After a few minutes I had finished cleaning my room. I got bored and decided to watch my favorite show for a while.

(Timeskip)

I felt my stomach grumble but I knew my mom would be on her way home soon with food. She always brings food when she comes back from work. Just as I stood up I heard the door open, I ran into the living room. "Food! Yay!" I yelled at my mother sat down the pizza on the counter. "Thought I'd get your favorite since its your last night with your mama." My mother said as she grabbed me and hugged me.

I reluctantly accepted the hug, before turning towards the pizza, hungry. "Sorry mom, I'm hungry" I grabbed a plate and began eating as we sat on the couch, watching a movie together. It was a nice night, but its sad it'll be my last one here for three months. I just hope It will be a decent camp, and maybe decent kids.

I layed down in my bed, preparing for the day ahead of me, knowing it could possibly be the worst day of my teenage life. The thoughts in my head began to blur as I drifted to sleep... Little did I know what tomorrow would bring...
