Take Flight.

I'm lucky I hadn't unpacked anything yet seeing as we left less than three hours after I got to the office. The jet was nice. Just big enough for the team but not too cramped. I was quietly seated across from JJ and next to Reid when we hit a patch of bad turbulence. My flight anxiety kicked into gear and I may or may not have freaked a little bit.

"Could I uh- possibly have my hand back?"

I opened my eyes to see Reid with a twinge of pain across his face. I looked down and saw my nails digging slightly into the back of his hand. I let go and looked at him.

"Sorry...."

"Don't like flying I see."

"Not really. It's a bit of a fear of mine."

"It's really not that dangerous. You're more likely to get bit by a shark then to die in a plane crash."

"That's comforting."

I shifted in my seat nervously.

"Don't listen to him Willow. He's full of statistics."

"It's not my fault I'm a genius."

"We know. We know."

JJ laughs and goes back to sorting through other files. I try to relax and read the book I brought along with me. It was a book that I'd read before but it just sucks me in each time.

"You like Anne Rule?"

"Of course. She writes about actual crimes. Why wouldn't I?"

"Not a lot of people know her work is all."

I giggled and went back to my book. When we finally landed I got off the jet as fast as I could. And stood there looking around, studying my surroundings. So this is where my first case is. Why couldn't it have been somewhere cooler?
