We finally made it to the field office in Houston and got settled in. After the head of the office the team started to read through the field office profile.
"Do any of you see anything wrong with this profile or is it just me?"
Morgan scans our faces before anybody speaks up. I scan over it once more when I realize the error.
"If he's a sadist then why does he cover them in a blanket? That clearly says he feels remorse."
"Exactly. If he didn't care that he did it he wouldn't cover them."
Hotch has a concentrated look on his face before he speaks up.
"What could be a possible reason for this?"
"Well there are a few possibilities, he could be-"
"Split personality could be one. His alter personality could be killing them and when he comes to again he could realize what's happened and immediately feel guilty and try to cover them up."
Reid sighs a bit after I interrupt him but he quickly lets it go.
"What could have caused them to have split personality disorder?"
JJ looks up at him and in a matter-of-fact tone says
"Any type of serious emotional trauma like childhood abuse."
"Split personality can also be cause by certain injuries sustained in certain areas of the brain."
"So we should look for males in their mid forties, severe social anxiety, and some type of trauma?"
Hotch asks as all of us as he picks his phone up and calls Garcia. One of the detectives from the field office looks at me a bit confused.
"So do you guys usually figure cases out this fast?"
"It's my first case but you guys had a fairly decent profile so it really depends on the other team."
Reid pipes up a bit.
"Plus the remorse factor helps narrow it down quite a bit. That and we have Garcia. She can find anything and everything with her computer."
It takes Garcia only about an hour to find the guy we're looking for. I end up staying in the field office with Spencer, JJ, and Rossi. Maybe next time I'll get to be a part of the action and terrifying adventure.
"You did good today Willow. You've already embraced the team and earned a nickname. You'll fit in just fine."
Rossi pats my shoulder and gives me a small smile.
"When they get back and we leave you should get some rest on the plane."
"I'll try but I can't make any promises."
All and all I've had a decent first day.
