CHAPTER 17: VAMPIRES CAN'T STAND PERIOD

Blade's POV

I shot up from my seat and immediately dashing out from the class. Completely ignoring the teacher's calls.

"BLADE! GET BACK HERE!" Mr Thompson yelled.

"SHUT THE FUCK UP YOU OLD SWINE!" I curse back. He doesn't smell it but I do. I can smell her. My mate. My wolf is on high alert as I dash towards that scent. I haven't seen her since lunch break and it got me worrying on where the hell she is. My first thought at first was that maybe some of the males here took advantage of her but no. She's still in the school. I can feel her but I don't know where. If only I could mark her then I would know wherever she will be. I smell it. Her blood. Her sweet scented blood causing my wolf to howl. She's hurt. I know it. I sniff the air even more. Even more of her blood. I dash down to the infirmary and barge into the room without bothering my mother. I see the bathroom door locked and immediately pry it open revealing my mate standing there in front of a mirror with nothing but her bra and underwear. My wolf purrs at that sight. That skin looks so smooth and fair but something on her arm catches my eye. A tattoo? Since her back is facing me, I don't mind the view even if its from the back. I was immediately blindfolded and kicked in the balls.

"FUUCCKK!!" that was a seriously hard blow. I couldn't maintain my balance and sat on the nearest bed while my precious babies throb in my pants.

"Now, why is it that you're barging in here and peeping on a girl?" mom asked. I growled at this woman and end up with a swat in the head from her clipboard.

"No growling, Blade. Answer me." She says as she shuts the door quietly. Atsuko doesn't seem to know what just happened. I took a few deep breaths and the throbbing still doesn't go down. What did she use to hit me?

"With this." She says as she showed me a 2kg dumbbell. The fuck! No wonder it hurts like shit!

"Now if you don't want another blow you will answer me, Blade Mathews." I gulp again as the dumbbell swings in front of me and I blurted out everything. Mom eyes widen and she looks back at the changing room then back at me. She got up when Atsuko is done with her changing. My mate immediately being engulf in my mother's arms and she wouldn't stop rubbing her face in my mate's head. Here she goes.

"Why didn't my stupid son tell me? Oh you'll do fine! You both will do just fine! Finally someone that can tolerate this idiot son of mine!!" She squeals. I felt offended at that remark. Atsuko still looks confused at my mother.I sigh in defeat at what my mother is doing to my poor Atsuko.

"Are you alright?" She nods still looking up at my mom. I really can't stand that innocent look she's giving. That should be me hugging her right now but after what happened between me and Javier I need to keep my distance from her. Atsuko finally got free from my mother's death grip and bows to her.

"Thank you for letting me rest." She says. She got up and tried to grab her bag but I stopped her. She looks up at me and her eyes widen.

"I'll take you back to class." She kept quiet but nods. I look back to my mom and she gave me a thumbs up. One thing I like about my mother is that she's a very supportive person. I still wonder though how come I could smell blood on Atsuko anyways?

Atsuko's POV

"Are you sure you're alright?" he asks for maybe the twentieth time today. School has already finished but Blade won't leave my side for even one minute. He even waited for me when I was done in the girl's bathroom. No wonder I've been to tired lately. It was my period but now I had to go find Kray and I need an excuse to get him to leave me alone. Going to the toilet was no use, he'll wait for me. What to do what to do. We're now in the school's car park and Blade offered me a ride. I tried thinking up the best excuse to get him to leave me alone but everything turned up wrongly. The twins' are having basketball practice so they had to stay behind, Saber is having extra classes with her friends so she's out and I'm left with him.
