CHAPTER 20: PROMISE?

Atsuko's POV

I walk towards my next class. A big smile still plastered on my face as I remembered what just happened a few hours ago. I cannot believe I'm Blade's girlfriend now. I'm still wearing the flower crown he hand made for me. I told him it was sweet that he wanted me to wear it but Saber said it was his way of showing that I belong to him now. I do belong to him but I hope he doesn't treat me like an object. I know I barely know him but being with him feels so right. I cannot explain it but I just know that we're meant to be. Once I got into classroom, no one was there. I'm early again.

Then I realised I wasn't alone. Sitting at the far corner stood a figure.

Lucas.

I greeted him and he shot up clearly startled by me. He took off his earphones and gave me a small smile. I sat next to him.

"How is everything going?"

"You mean about last night?" he asks. I nod. He sighs and stares out the window. The school building is tall enough for us to see the forest. Somewhere in there lays that passage way.

"It was different and you really aren't the type of person I thought you were anymore."

"Eh?"

"You're not who you are at all. You're the complete opposite."

"You saw what happened. Didn't you?"

He nods. Then Dragon Forest was keeping an eye out for me during my missions. It seems that they do keep an eye out for every member in there. They should be spying on us right now. Who knows there's hidden cameras hidden somewhere. I don't know where but I know we're safe.

"Are you going tonight?" he asks. I shrug.

"We'll see. Are you?"

"I don't know.." he trails off. His shoulders slump down and I sigh at him.

"Lucas, you have to learn to trust them. We are different."

"Like I'll be one of you. Just look at me. I'm just nobody."

My fingers trails up his hand and to his tattoo. His wolf flashing strong and proud. He can release the beast inside and it will be powerful. It's just that he is not confident in himself. He was pushed down by so many people so that made him question his strength and abilities.

He shivers slightly as my power radiates from me.

"If I were you I would watch it with that tone."

"S-Sorry."

I smile. "It's alright. So are you coming tonight or not?"
"Atsuko, I really don't know."

I have to push it a little bit. I can't let him just walk out of here not knowing what he truly is. He's missing something from his life and that is the beast! He needs to release it or else he'll lose himself! I have come too far for this to end. Dragon Forest is growing and I am not letting it die just like that because this brat thinks he can walk out of everything.

"Just do it. Please?"

He hesitates but finally spoke up. "F-Fine."

I beam at him as he grumbles something.

"That face again."

"What?"

"You make this face when someone doesn't go according to what you want you make this cute and innocent face and nobody could resist it."
