Episode 2: Sky High

Gill Grunt stood at Spyro's door, knocking simultaneously. It was almost time for their classes to start and Spyro had still not gotten up. It wasn't until after the four set of knocking that he heard a groan.

Gill Grunt:
Spyro, wake up. It's almost time for class.

Spyro:
I'll be down there!

Gill Grunt:
When?

Spyro:
In like...an hour.

Gill Grunt rolled his eyes at the dragon's laziness. He ran to the other side of the hallway and picked up his harpoon gun. Gill Grunt saw an open window to Spyro's dorm and immediately felt a mischievous smirk creep across his lips. Gill Grunt aimed the weapon towards the window as the smirk grew. He pulled a trigger and water came spraying out of the harpoon gun and through the window.

Spyro:
Aaaaaaaahhhhhh!

Gill Grunt couldn't help but laugh at the reaction. The door suddenly burst open, revealing a very wet and mad Spyro, panting in anger.

Spyro:
Gill, get. Over. Here!!

Gill Grunt hit the barrels on his back and turned on the makeshift jet pack. He flew away as Spyro swooped after him. The two cadets chased each other throughout the hallways of the Academy. Spyro came closer to Gill Grunt when suddenly, Stealth Elf appeared in front of him and stopped him.

Spyro:
Step aside, Elf, I've got a date with a fried fish.

Stealth Elf, however, did not move and stopped Spyro from moving.

Stealth Elf:
What happened?

Gill Grunt:
He wouldn't get up to come to class, so.....

Spyro:
So he sprayed me with water!

Stealth Elf:
Good.

Spyro:
What?

Gill Grunt:
I did it because you can't just show up when you feel like it, you need to come one, class starts in twenty minutes, and you know how the senseis get when we're late.

Spyro:
Come on, Elf back me up.

Stealth Elf:
No, I'm with Gill, actually. You have to be more responsible. I'll see you at breakfast.

Stealth Elf and Gill Grunt then turned around and walked away. Spyro shook his head and flew after them.

Kaos furiously blasts lightning bolts at his troll servants. He was now furious at his previous failure and was now left taking out anger as the pore trolls ran in fear. It wasn't until Glumshanks came by that Kaos ceased the lightning bolts.

Glumshanks:
Sir, is this a bad time, or.....

Kaos:
No of course not, Glumshanks, as a matter of fact, it's the perfect time.

Kaos walked away from Glumshanks and picked up a scroll off the table. He unrolled the scroll and revealed that it spoke of everything in Skylands.

Kaos:
I have devised a new plan, one to destroy the very place where light and dark meet in perfect harmony, where the darkness is bound from this world.

Glumshanks:
A black and white cookie from Skytable.

Kaos:
No you idiot, the Core of Light! I'm going to destroy it and released the darkness, then I will rule the Skylands.

Glumshanks:
But isn't it the most secluded thing in all of the Skylands?

Kaos:
Yes, but if anyone knows where it is, it's the old fool, Eon, now come, Glumshanks, we are going back to the Academy.
