Skylanders Journey: Season 1

Episode 1: Skylanders Academy

It was just a normal day at Skylanders Academy, the place where all Skylanders are made and given their responsibilities. Only one day until enrollment and it was preparing for its new generation of cadets. All the while, a purple blur zipped effortlessly passed the academy.

Spyro:
Wohoo!! Yeah!

Spyro zoomed throughout the sky and watched over the academy. He then grabs a sheep and does a barrel role while juggling the sheep in his hands. He threw the sheep into the air and did a dive towards the island and breathed fire creating a target. The sheep he had tossed into the air then fell back down and landed in the bullseye of the target. Spyro celebrated by flying into the air and creating clouds that spelled out "Spyro Wins" in the sky.

Spyro:
Yes! Spyro wins!

Hugo:
Spyro!

Hugo walked around the island looking for Spyro. He then took notice of the sheep that Spyro dropped on the target. Seeing the sheep, Hugo retreated scared and hid behind a tree. The sheep followed and Hugo began cowering against the tree. Spyro then flew down and picked up the sheep from the ground.

Spyro:
Hugo, relax. They're harmless.

Hugo:
They are not harmless, they are harmful! Entirely full of harm!

Spyro rolled his and threw the sheep behind him as he flew towards Hugo.

Spyro:
You need serious help, man. Get a therapist or better yet, a team.

Hugo:
Well, Master Eon wants to talk to you. Something about enrollment tomorrow.

Spyro:
Okay.

Spyro then zoomed back towards the academy. Hugo finally came out from behind the tree while dusting himself off. Out of nowhere, the sheep appeared in Hugo's face and he ran scared.

Spyro burst through the doors to Eon's study. He flew around the grand room before landing at the bottom of the stairs. Master Eon stood there, facing the massive window placed behind his desk.

Spyro:
Hey there, my main man! Master Eon. So, what's up?

Eon:
I am glad you could make it, Spyro.

Eon finally turned around and walked towards Spyro, causing the purple dragon to move closer to him.

Eon:
I hope you are aware of the academy enrollment tomorrow, Spyro.

Spyro:
How could I forget? The day where I'm finally old enough to get in! I'm going to be the greatest Skylanders you have ever trained, Eon. No Skylander will be better than...

Eon placed a finger over Spyro's mouth to silence him.

Eon:
That is actually what I wanted to talk to you about.

Eon walked passed Spyro and towards the shelves of the grand library. Spyro followed behind Eon as the two walked. Eon had raised Spyro from an egg at the academy, and since then he had always had faith in the dragon becoming a great Skylanders.

Eon:
Spyro, from the day you hatched from your egg, I had no doubt you would become a great Skylander. But, do you know what being a Skylander means?

Spyro:
I should start my own fan club?

Eon pinched the bridge of his nose and shook his head at the dragon's arrogance.

Eon:
No, it means you must stop looking out for yourself, becoming a Skylanders means life is not just about yourself.

Spyro:
Hey, it's not just about me!
