𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐀 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐓𝐇𝐄 eldest daughter of Elrond. She was the princess of Rivendell, the problem was Ellaria didn't want to be a princess, nor did she have any desire to become a Queen. All Ellaria wanted to do was explore. She was an adventurer, a lover of the woods, a mother to all creatures she came across. Ellaria was simply an anomaly in the elven world. She did not follow rules, she did not care to live up to anyone's expectations. All Ellaria wanted was to get on her horse and ride the wind, letting it take her wherever she wanted to go. But of course, Ellaria couldn't always get what she wanted.

𝐄𝐋𝐑𝐎𝐍𝐃 𝐊𝐍𝐄𝐖 𝐇𝐈𝐒 daughter didn't want the life of royalty, he knew that she wanted to leave and explore every inch of the world. The problem was, he was scared to let her go. To him, Ellaria was everything. After the death of his wife, he held his children close to his chest, not daring to let them stray too far. Maybe that was selfish of him, if it was he didn't quite care. All he cared about was his girls, the last part of home that kept him going. He wouldn't lose them to things such as sickness, or war, or even death―︎even though they had been trained for all of it. He refused.

𝐇𝐎𝐖𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑, 𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐀 𝐖𝐀𝐒 also selfish. To her, it seemed like her father was coddling her, like he didn't want her to be able to live her life. A life she has been begging for since she had become an adult. The thing was, Ellaria was determined. She knew how to get things she wanted, and what she wanted was freedom. So when she's exploring the woods and comes across a blonde elf, she discovers he is the one that will give her the life that she wants. The freedom to be whoever she wants and to go wherever she wants. When he invites her to her home, she accepts it with a wide grin.

𝐒𝐇𝐄 𝐁𝐄𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐒 𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐃 as her veins fill with adventure and freedom, but what she doesn't expect is to fall in love, to go on dangerous adventures that risk her life and make her question everything. Becoming friends with Legolas of Mirkwood changes her life, for better or for worse she isn't sure yet. After not seeing him for years, an opportunity strikes. When a company of dwarves and a hobbit come knocking on her front door, she feels obliged to help them. So she does. And along the way she is forced to face heartbreak, war, and death. Maybe being exposed to the cruelties of the world wasn't her best decision.
