"For a while this time, sister." Ellaria answered.
Arwen straightened. "With the Dwarves?" Ellaria nodded. "Does father know?"
"He does." Ellaria confirmed, walking past her sister and out of her room.
"How do you even know they will accept your help?" Arwen asked, rushing after her.
"They will have no choice." She stopped, turning to face Arwen. "I will be back soon, Arwen. Watch over father whilst I am away." She pressed a soft kiss to her sister's cheek, giving her a gentle smile.
"I will." Arwen assured. "I love you."
"I love you too."
Ellaria stood outside, waiting patiently for the Dwarves departure. She leaned against the rocky path they had traveled, smiling to herself when she heard them approach. She turned her head, watching as Thorin came to a stop when he spotted her. She rose a perfect brow. "Going somewhere?"
Thorin rose his chin. "Princess."
"Thorin." She pushed herself from the rocks. "I want to offer my help."
Thorin's eyes narrowed. "We need no help from an elf. Especially not one that has a crown tied to her name."
Ellaria let out a melodic chuckle. "I know where you need to go, I know how to get there without having to scan a map or question the way the wind blows, you need my help. I do not want anything from you, nor do I have any desire to take what is rightfully yours. If it brings you any comfort, which I know it will not, I have no desire to claim my crown. I only want freedom." She glanced up, straining her ears. "Now, if I am correct, which I am, my fathers men are looking for you and your company. We may continue to stand here and debate, or you can accept my offer and we leave without them knowing the path we will take."
Thorin kept his glare. He did not like elves, just as they didn't like dwarves, but as he turned his head to look at Balin the grey haired elf gave a shrug and Thorin grumbled to himself. "Fine." Ellaria dipped her chin in a bow and turned and began walking with the Dwarves following after her. "Be on your guard. We're about to step over the edge of the wild." He looked at Ellaria. "Since you claim to know these paths, princess, please, lead on."
Ellaria sent him an amused smirk before doing as he asked. She began walking, Balin following her along with the rest of the Dwarves. Thorin turned to Bilbo who had stopped to stare at Rivendell. "Master Baggins, I suggest you keep up."
