The scene begins with a live broadcast as the reporter going by Trish Tilby is outside the X-Men mansion.
Trish: Was it caused by atomic testing? Or is it nature herself, deciding the time has come to change the human race? Some say they're freaks, some call them monsters, but all over the planet, they are known as mutants.
The live broadcast switches scenes to inside the mansion as Trish interviews Beast, who is wearing something formal.
Beast: We prefer to see it as a world that misunderstands us. Fortunately, helping us build those bridges is a journalist as esteemed as yourself.
Trish: Well, I am just as flattered to be sitting with a renowned scientist such as yourself, Doctor McCoy.
Beast blushes as the compliment.
Beast: [chuckles] Blue blushes, too, my dear.
The broadcast switches to Trish as she walks outside the mansion.
Trish: Here in Westchester County sits an unassuming English estate, the X-Men's home. A school for mutants, founded by the late Professor Charles Xavier.
The broadcast switches to Trish now interviewing Jubilee.
Jubilee: Not like regular boring classes. More hands-on learning, you know? But with big death machines and vampire dinosaurs.
The broadcast pans to the X-Men members doing their own things such as Logan and Morph playing basketball to Beast in his laboratory.
Trish: For many of the X-Men, Xavier's school is the only home they've ever known. People who have fallen through the cracks. Forgotten. Desperate to belong.
The broadcast changes to Trish inside the mansion.
Trish: But that sense of belonging goes worldwide today, as the UN formally admits the mutant nation of Genosha.
The scene transitions to a jet flying through the sky. Aboard, Magneto and Y/n sit on the front with Y/n piloting while Rogue and Gambit sit behind.
Gambit: [sighs] This is taking forever.
Y/n: Well you should've thought about that before deciding to join us.
Magneto: Gambit, please remember that should the new Blackbird suffer a malfunction, you are the only soul on board for whom gravity would most certainly be an issue. That includes you too, Y/n.
Y/n: [smirk] Oh don't worry Magneto. I might use you as a way down.
Magneto scoffs at Y/n's comment.
Rogue: [scoffs] Can it, you roosters.
Y/n: Ha!
Rogue: That includes you too N/n. Look-y ahead.
In front, they see an island coming to view.
Gambit: Ki-yay! They be busy doing a bit of renovating since Gambit's last visit.
The scene transitions to giant statues of Magneto and Professor Xavier, behind them a pyramid inspired building. The scene changes to downtown as the streets are decorated with color and joy as mutants are seen enjoying their new home. Kids having fun, as a familiar green mutant, Leech, is among them. They board the train and through the windows they see the Blackbird.
Random boy: Is that the X-Men?
The scene changes back to the four X-Men aboard as they see the crowd cheering for them.
