Bright Eyes

The scene begins in a rainy day as funeral is being held. Scott, Beast, Morph, and Logan are seen carying a black casket as the rest of the X-Men follow them, all wearing black for the occassion. They pass a groups of individuals, a woman with light blonde hair, a man with dirty blonde hair, another man with grey hair, and another woman with black hair and white highlights, known as the Thieves Guild as they place the casket in front of Remmy's portrait. Next to it, there is a portrait of Y/n and in front a bouquet of red roses. They all stand back as Kurk stands in between the pictures wearing a white priest robe holding a bible. He then recites some words for the deceased.

Kurt: Remy LeBeau would be the first to remind you that life, like the cards, is wild. Yet he moved through his life as a force who believed better times lay ahead, that luck always won. Per his kinetic gifts, Gambit had endless faith in potential. Yet he seemed so blind to his, haunted by the life of bayou crime into which he was born. A sinner beyond saving. "Such were the cards," he'd say. I think he was bluffing. How could Remy, so tuned to potential, fail to see how his sins had made him into a hero?

Kurt stares at the Remmy's picture, tears rolling down his cheeks.

Kurt: Every gambler has a tell. Modesty was Gambit's.

Kurt sighs for a bit before turning to Y/n's picture as more people begin to tear up.

Kurt: And now Y/n L/n... sadly we were not able to locate a body but only our memories will helps us remember him. He was special. A single man that brought compassion and bravery to all of our hearts. He was always there when we needed him and would do anything to keep his family safe even if it costed his life. Being the Professor's first student, he held the burden of following his dream, but that didn't stop him. It encourage him to keep on going and bring hope to all of those around him. He was a hero amongst heros.

Jubilee falls to her knees as Roberto holds her as she whispers.

Jubilee: [sobs] Oh Y/n, I wasn't able to tell you how I felt...

The scene changes as they lower the casket to the ground and the team watches. Jubilee is seen crouched down as tears continously flow not believe what was happening, not believing he was gone. Logan and Morph stood behind as she faces them.

Jubilee: [sobs] How could she not be here? They saved all of us. Y/n saved her. He loved her.

Jubilee stands as she continues to sob as Logan approaches and hugs her.

Logan: Grief's a lonely war. Rogue's gotta figure it out on her own.

Kurt approaches the two.

Kurt: [concerned] Logan, you were spared witnessing that which Rogue and I saw in Genosha. What she battles is not mere grief. And our dear Jubilee is wise to be afraid.

The scene changes to Rogue as she flies through a desert seemingly heading towards somewhere. She arrives to a military facility as she lands creating a giant crater. Soldiers begin to surround her, aiming at her.

Man over PA: This is a top secret United States facility. You are trespassing. Cease and...

She hits the ground creating a shockwave knocking the soldiers to the ground. A machine begins to fire at her as she flies up and hits it square center launching it back to a building. Another one fires hitting her in the back as she flies towards it. She flies up before doing a flip before aiming a flying kick towards it, hitting it and flipping it over. Another one fires at her as she pick up a downed one and begins to hit it with it. Inside the building, soldiers watch through the cameras at the destruction Rogue is doing.
