(38) Bridging Boundaries

Siya : (smiling widely as she talks about JK her favourite Singer )

Juhu & Maggie: (disappointed) What, Siya? We thought you really liked someone.

Siya : Well, I am telling you, I do like JK.

Juhu: Siya , we're being serious.

Siya : ( Siya stops laughing) Okay, okay, I'm sorry.

King: It's time for our theater class; let's go there.

Juhu: Alright.

(They all head to their theater class, and Siya can't help but smile when she sees Warin, practicing together with everyone.)

College ends, and today Juhu, Maggie, King, and Siya don't plan to go to the restaurant. Siya insists on them going, so they agree.

Siya is in her room, thinking about whether she has really fallen in love with Freen. She doesn't make an effort to understand this because even her friends noticed that she's reacting as if she's in love. She thinks about the kiss with Warin and wonders why she didn't stop herself.

She contemplates why she felt pleasure from Warin's kiss, something she hadn't experienced with Rom despite having kissed him before.

(Evening comes, and today, Siya is more dressed up compared to other days. She reaches the restaurant, and as usual, they all eat and talks .

Afterward, they prepare to leave, and Siya waits outside for Warin . When Warin arrives, she sees Siya's car and without waiting for Siya to speak, she gets into the car herself. Siya starts driving, but Warin struggles with her seatbelt.)

Siya suddenly hits the brakes, causing Warin to move forward abruptly. Siya grabs her and pulls the car to the side. She asks Warin if she's okay, and Warin mentions that her seatbelt came undone.

Siya reassures her and helps her fasten it. During this, they end up quite close, and Siya's hand touches Warin's stomach, making both of them uncomfortable. Siya starts the car again, and Warin apologizes, Warin says to Siya , Warin shouldn't have done whatever happened yesterday.

Warin : I feel really sorry for it. Please forgive me. Trust me, it won't happen again.

(Hearing Warin's s words, Siya doesn't feel good, so she just nods. Warin comes to her house and says goodbye before leaving. Siya goes home and worries if what Warin said is true, meaning that Warin doesn't like her. This thought makes Siya even more upset.

Miss Daral enters Siya's room and says they've come for dinner. Siya says she's not hungry today. Miss Daral notices Siya seems troubled and asks what's wrong. At first, Siya doesn't say anything, but when Miss Daral is about to leave, Siya stops her and admits that she's very confused.

Miss Daral asks about the issue, and Siya says she's not sure if she should discuss it with Miss Daral because she doesn't know how Miss Daral will react. Miss Daral assures her that she can share anything and that they will support her if she's right and help her understand if she's wrong.
