(45) Siya's Birthday Revelations

Freen goes home and tries calling Siya, but Siya doesn't answer her call. Freen then sends a message to Siya, but Siya doesn't check her messages either.)

Freen: (Frustrated, she tosses her phone aside) Why isn't she picking up my calls? I might as well go to Siya's place and meet her.

(Freen goes to Siya's house. However, this time, the watchman stops her outside.)

Freen: I need to meet Siya

Watchman: She's not at home right now.

Freen: Where is she?

Watchman: It's her birthday tomorrow, so she might be out shopping for her birthday.

Freen: Oh... When she returns, please let her know that I came by.

Watchman: Sure.

( Siya observes Freen from her balcony. Miss Daral joins her and asks:)

Miss Daral: Dear, you're at home, yet you lied to the watchman. Why?

Siya : Because I don't feel like meeting Freen.

Miss Daral: But what happened, dear?

( Siya doesn't respond to Miss Daral's question.)

Miss Daral: Dear, are you not going to tell me anything? Why are you ignoring Freen?

( Siya bursts into tears and hugs Miss Daral. She is crying uncontrollably.)

Miss Daral: Why are you crying, dear? What happened?

(Miss Daral wipes Siya's tears and presses for answers.)

Miss Daral: Dear, you're crying, but will you tell me why you're ignoring Freen?
( Siya , still sobbing, says:)
Siya : Freen doesn't love me, Miss Daral.
Miss Daral: Why do you say that? She doesn't love you?
Siya: I heard it with my own ears, Miss Daral.
When I went to Uncle's office because he had called Freen and me there to discuss our relationship, I overheard Uncle giving money to Freen.
( Siya proceeds to tell Miss Daral everything about the conversation between Freen and her uncle.)
Miss Daral: Are you telling the truth, dear?
Siya : Yes, Miss Daral, Uncle sent Freen to change me, to make me different. So that I change, but Freen deceived me, Miss Daral. Freen did everything for money. She doesn't love me. She betrayed my love and trust.
( Siya shares everything with Miss Daral, crying her heart out.)
Miss Daral: Dear, it's possible that she had her own reasons. I understand she did everything for money, but she might have genuinely wanted to help you change, dear. You never know; she might truly love you.
Siya : No, Miss Daral, she doesn't love me.
Miss Daral: I understand that Freen did wrong by you, but maybe, just maybe, you should talk to her. Making such a decision without talking to her might not be right, dear.
( Siya doesn't respond.)
(Miss Daral calms Siya and suggests:)
Miss Daral: Understand my point, dear. Give her a chance. Please talk to her and see. Making a decision like this isn't right, dear.
( Siya hears Miss Daral and nods in agreement.)
(Miss Daral advises Siya )
Miss Daral: Take your time, dear. You don't have to rush into anything.
Siya : Miss Daral, I don't know what to do now. Freen's betrayal has shattered me.
Miss Daral: Dear, it's alright. Let's not make hasty decisions.
(Miss Daral convinces Siya to think and reconsider her actions.)
(Miss Daral tells Siya that Freen might have had valid reasons and encourages her to at least have a conversation before making any decisions.)
( Siya doesn't respond.)
(Miss Daral calms Siya and advises her to talk to Freen before making a final decision.)
( Siya listens to Miss Daral and nods in agreement.) (Then, Siya goes to her room, and her uncle calls her.) Uncle: Hello, dear.
Siya : Hello, uncle.
Uncle: Are you alright?
Siya : Yes, uncle, I'm fine.
Uncle: Dear, why didn't you come to the office today?
Siya : Well, uncle, I suddenly remembered something important, so I couldn't come to the office.
Uncle: I see. If you remembered something important, you should have called and informed me. I could have arranged for you to meet Freen tomorrow. Both of us were waiting for you, dear.
Siya : I apologize for making you wait, uncle.
Uncle: It's alright, dear. You can be forgiven for making us wait.
Siya : Alright, uncle, I'll hang up now.

Juhu: (Juhu says) Freen conspired with Rom and pretended to save Siya while only pretending to be in love with her. Her real affair is with someone else, and it's all about the money. Now, how do we tell Siya the truth about Freen? How do we make her understand that Freen loves her not for herself but for her wealth?
(However, standing outside the door, Siya overhears their entire conversation.) Siya : ( Siya asks) What were you all talking about regarding Freen?
Juhu: (Juhu nervously says) Oh, Siya, we were just discussing some random things.
Siya : There's no need to lie because I overheard everything. Is what I heard the truth?
(No one responds.)
Siya : I'm asking you all, was what I heard the truth?
Juhu: Yes.
Siya : Why did you all keep this from me?
Juhu: Siya, we were going to tell you, but we thought you wouldn't believe us.
Siya : Does Uncle also know about this?
Maggie: Yes, your uncle is aware of this, Siya
( Siya gets angry after hearing this.)
King: (King calls out to Siya ) But where are you going, Siya ?
( Siya doesn't respond.)
(She starts her car in anger and begins driving. While on the road, she sees Freen hugging Send and kissing her on the forehead. Seeing this, Siya gets extremely angry, tears well up in her eyes. She stops her car, watches them, and then drives home. Upon arriving home, she starts looking at various dresses in her room, but instead, Siya quickly goes upstairs to her room, locks the door, and lies on her bed, crying.)
(Evening, 6:00 pm)
(Jiyong knocks on Siya's room door. Siya opens the door and answers.) Jiyong: What were you doing, Siya? You locked your room.
Siya : ( Siya replies) I was sleeping.
Jiyong: Today is your birthday, Siya Don't you remember? There's so much preparation happening in the whole house. You should be excited about your birthday. Dad has invited all the prominent businessmen in Bangkok.
Siya : I don't feel like celebrating my birthday, Jiyong.
Jiyong: What are you saying, Siya? Is your health okay?
Siya : Yes, I'm perfectly fine. I just don't feel like it, Jiyong.
Jiyong: Siya, look, everyone is so happy. Miss Daral, Dad, your friends, and me, I'm here specially for your birthday.
Siya: I know, but I don't feel like it, Jiyong.
Jiyong: Look, if something is bothering you, please discuss it with me. How about we go to the garden and talk? Maybe you'll feel better there.
Siya: Okay, Jiyong.
(Siya and Jiyong go to the garden and sit down. Siya tells Jiyong about what Freen did to her, and with tears in her eyes, she rests her head on his shoulder. Jiyong tells Siya that if Freen did wrong to her, tried to play with her feelings, why is she crying for someone like that? She should show Freen that she is strong, that his actions don't affect her. She can move on with her life, and she's not alone - she has her father, Jiyong, her childhood friend Miss Daral, and others with her.)
(After listening to Jiyong, Siya agrees with him. Jiyong encourages her to change her mood and not let anyone spoil her birthday. He reminds her of how much her father has been looking forward to this day.)
( Siya agrees with Jiyong's words and he tells her to pick a beautiful dress for herself that makes her look even more grown up.)
Siya : (Getting a bit annoyed) Jiyong, are you going to tease me again that I'm not a child? I'm grown up.
Jiyong: (laughs) If you weren't a child, you wouldn't be shedding these childlike tears, and your nose wouldn't be so red.
(Saying this, Jiyong continues to laugh. Spending time with Jiyong makes Siya feel better. Siya's phone rings, and she sees that Freen is calling her. She silences her phone and continues talking to Jiyong.)
