(36) Unspoken Gifts and Unanswered Questions

Freen returns home, and her mother is waiting for her. She mentions that Freen should freshen up, and she sets a box on the table.

Mrs. Aram asks, What is this?

Freen replied, siya gave it to me.

Mrs. Aram asks if siya brought it for her.

Freen says, No, Miss Daral, Siya's servant, gave it to me. She's sweet and close to me.

Mrs. Aram responds positively, and then Freen realizes she forgot to ask what's inside the box. Mrs. Aram suggests opening it, and Freen agrees.

Mrs. Aram tells her to freshen up, and Freen goes to do so.

After freshening up, Freen returns downstairs, and they both sit down for dinner. Freen opens the box that siya had given her and finds a cupcake inside.

She tells Mrs. Aram that it's a cupcake.

Mrs. Aram smells it and says it looks tasty, guessing that Miss Daral might have made it with her own hands.

(Siya's house in Bangkok)

(Siya is having dinner, and Miss Daral asks her how her friends liked the cupcakes she made for them. Siya replies that they liked it okay. Miss Daral says that siya's friends are lucky because it was the first time siya had made something herself, and Miss Daral didn't get to taste it.

Siya explains that she loves her friends more, which is why she cooked for them.But Miss Daral became sad after listening to siya. Siya sees Miss Daral having dinner and smiles

(After dinner)

Siya cleans her hands, hugs Miss Daral from behind, and tells her that.
I was just teasing you Miss Daral
I love you and Uncle the most in the world. i promise to you to cook for you next time.

Miss Daral also loves Siya. Siya then goes to her room to sleep. In her room, Siya reflects on how she couldn't even thank Freen properly for her cooking and for the cupcake Miss Daral had given her. She decides to buy a gift for Freen and give it to her, explaining that it's a gift from her as a token of gratitude for saving her life.)

(Siya stands in front of her practice mirror, trying to bring a smile to her face first. When she succeeds, she looks even more beautiful with a smile. She practices this several times, saying, "This is a thank-you gift for you from me. You saved my life and cared so much for me.")

(Miss Daral notices that the lights are on in siya's house and goes to check on her. She sees Siya practicing in front of the mirror with a smile and knocks on her door. Siya reacts as if she wasn't doing anything special.

Miss Daral asks if she couldn't sleep. Siya says she was just about to sleep. Miss Daral accepts this and leaves. Siya turns off her room's light and goes to sleep too.)

(NEXT DAY)

(After finishing college, siya goes shopping to buy a gift for freen.
She looks a set many gifts for freen but is drawn to a silver necklace decorated with diamonds. Siya really likes that necklace, so she buys it for freen )

(Freen goes to the mall to buy household items, and there she sees Miss Daral also shopping for groceries. Freen notices Miss Daral, greets her, and strikes up a conversation. She tells Miss Daral that the cupcake she sent with Siya the other day was delicious.

Freen thanks her, but Miss Daral is puzzled and says she didn't send any cupcake. Freen insists that siya mentioned it was from her.

Miss Daral then recalls and says, "Oh, siya must have made that cupcake for you.
