(37). Unexpected Affection

{ Singhania University,
Bangkok, 9:00 am}

Siya is walking in the college corridor with her friends. She notices a Warin approaching from the front and expects her to acknowledge her. However, this time, the Warin doesn't look at Siya

(They all go to their classes, but Siya's mind is elsewhere. When the teacher asks her what they've been studying, Siya remains silent.)

[ Theatre Hall, 11:00 am ]

All the students are practicing in the theatre hall, helping each other with dialogues and dance steps. Siya stands aside, waiting for Warin, hoping she will ask why she is standing there and not practicing. But Warin looks at Siya, says nothing, and continues helping the other students. Siya is hurt that her teacher Warin didn't pay attention.

After college, everyone goes home, including Siya . She is having lunch, but she continues to think about Warin . Miss Daral notices her distress and asks her what's wrong, but Siya doesn't reveal anything. She decides to buy some food for Warin as she had thrown away a handbag meant for her the previous day.

[ Resturant - 7:00 pm ]

Siya's friends gather at the restaurant, discussing their future plans after graduation. Juhu wants to join her father's business and later marry King. Maggie plans to go to Singapore, become a model, and then marry with Kark.

Juhu asks Siya about her future plans after graduation, but Siya has no answer because she has never thought about her future. She used to enjoy parties and didn't expect her friends to have ambitious future plans. However, when she learns that they do, she feels bad about not having a partner or any future plans of her own.

Siya eventually says that she hasn't thought about her future and maybe she'll join her father's business. When Maggie asks about marriage, Siya gets emotional, thinking about Rom, and she excuse herself .

After Siya leaves, King advises Maggie not to ask Siya about marriage-related questions as it might have hurt her. They decide to go and find Siya and avoid such questions in the future.

Maggie( agrees ): Hmmm

They go outside to find Siya . They ask her if she's okay, and she replies that she is.

They invite her back inside, and she joins them again. They order food and drinks. Maggie has something to attend to and leaves with Kark.

Later, Juhu and King also leave, and Siya calls the waiter to pack food for her teacher Warin.

Siya waits in her car outside, and when Warin finishes her break and comes out, Siya approaches her with the packed food. Siya tells her that she's heading home and can go with her if she wants. but Warin insists on going alone. Siya asks one more time, and Warin declines. She waits for a taxi.
