Squirrelpelt watched from afar as Blackkit looked proudly up to Firestar. Today was his apprentice ceremony, although he is only 5 moons old. Tigerstar and Leopardstar had teamed up to make Tigerclan, but now the ambitious Shadowclan leader was dead. Squirrelpelt had not been there to see who, for she was taking care of her son. She wished she could have seen that cat die though. :3
"Blackkit, it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you shall be known as Blackpaw. Your mentor will be Longtail. I hope Longtail will pass down all he knows to you." Firestar announced the sacred words as he turned to Longtail.
"Longtail, it is time for you to get an apprentice. You have received excellent training from Darkstripe, and have shown yourself to be clever and strong. Your apprentice will be Blackpaw, and I expect you to pass down all you know to Blackpaw." Longtail and Blackpaw touched noses, and went into the croud of cats. "Blackpaw, Blackpaw!" They all cheered. Squirrelpelt was the one who cheered the loudest.
"Longtail must train him hard for the next few days, for we have little time." Whitestorm mewed to Firestar.
"We need as many cats as we can to fight out there. Longtail will do a good job teaching my grandson battle moves." Firestar replied.
"That is his specialty." Whitestorm chuckled as he referenced to when Firestar first came to the clan. Longtail had just became a warrior and he challenged him.
"Yes." Firestar smiled a bit and walked away towards Blackpaw. 'He looks so much like him....'
